Very clean tasting pasta and generous portion of crab meat given. Very worth it under 1-for-1 deal with burpple beyond!
The roasted pistachio flavour is an instant favourite, as it is very tasty and not overly creamy, while the waffles were nicely toasted and crispy. Worth every penny!
Queued about 15 mins for this, and the broth was so worth it! Sweet and flavourful, very comforting to have on a rainy day. The noodles also weren’t too soft, boiled to perfection. The king prawn, however, wasn’t impressive (not super fresh or juicy) and the spare rib was served cold and I couldn’t taste the prawn paste in it. Wouldn’t specially queue again for this bowl of noodles, not the best priced despite its Michelin status!
Fried spring rolls stuffed with fetta cheese, onion, parsley, mint and pine kernels. These were fried to perfection, but to be honest I could only taste the feta cheese and not the fragrance of the other ingredients. Not the most authentic but still somewhat tasty if you just want something fried!
The lamb chop was juicy but a tad too oily. The saffron rice also went well with the tender meat and the portion was just right. Worth it under the 1 for 1 deal under burpple beyond, but wouldn’t order it again.
This was the main course of the month of November (part of the 17-course meal) - unagi chasuke, which was fresh and very much comfort food. Pretty decent quality for its price, highly recommended for anyone looking to try omakase for the first time and do not wish to burn their pockets too much. They change their menus every so often so it’s always a surprise!
Got this bowl as a set (comes with a soup and drink). The duck slices were tasty (not too chewy, and the skin nicely tender), and I always love how their rice is somewhat buttery, which makes it so fragrant even by itself. The onsen egg was nicely poached too. Definitely appreciate the quality of food maintained at this cafe!
Loved how light this tasted, so it goes well with the flavourful cakes. Only a pity that we could not get the peach slices out of the bottle because the opening was too narrow!
Not a durian lover but I enjoyed how creamy this was - not too overpowering but stil packs a punch!
Love the light but fragrant gula melaka flavour and the fluffiness of the cake! A little pricy for such a thin slice, though.
Angel hair pasta with Maine lobster in chili pomodori sauce - loved this! The chili taste gave it an interesting kick, the lobster bits were fragrant and the thin strands of the angel hair pasta complemented the sauce. Would order again!
A very average dish, not impressive as the calamari didn’t taste very fresh since it was too chewy. Nevertheless the chili dip (with some hints of garlic) at the side complemented it very well - brought out an interesting flavour to the calamari rings.
