Fresh Italian Burrata Cheese with Toasted Bread š§š: Smooth and creamy, and lighter than other types of cheese (which I like); lovely appetiser to start off the meal with, especially when paired with crispy toasted bread
2GR Full-Blood Wagyu MS6/7 Denverš„©: Juicy, tender, flavourful, and beautifully pink, itās an absolute must-try; you wouldnāt be able to tell itās a secondary cut of beef because itās done so perfectly
SautĆ©ed Thyme Mushroom Medley š: A delightful mix of plump (if you could put it that way) shiitake and button mushrooms, this side isnāt overshadowed by the beef in any way; put it simply, I cleaned the plate in no time, highly recommended as a side to go with your steak!
Basque Burnt Cheesecake š°: Rich yet not overpowering, this cheesy treat is a perfect way to end the meal, while Iām not quite a cheese lover, I would order this again anytime; love the almond crumble that comes with it as it gives some nice crunch and texture
Spicy Crispy Pigās Ear: Pigās ear fried til crispy with a bit of a kick from the spice, paired with tangy aioli. Itās very appetising and I find myself keep going in for more.
Roasted Japanese Scallops: Very plump and sweet, and cooked to perfection. Seafood fans, this is your dish!
Jackās Creek F1 Wagyu MS 4/5 Deckle: Tender and juicy steak, just the right doneness with a nice smokiness to it. Scampi butter & bordelaise both paired well with it. Substantial portion for 2 to share!
Eton Mess: Really blew me away, surprisingly my favourite dish. Sweetness from the cream and black forest chocolate balanced with sourness from the berries, with bits of meringue mixed in for added texture, cold and refreshing sorbet underneath and a bit of alcohol to elevate the taste - perfection in a cup!
Great ambience and a wide selection of affordable izakaya food.
The kani gratin ($8) was creamy and had a generous amount of mentaiko without being overly rich and the ika ākuroā-age ($12) had big, fresh pieces of squid coated in savoury squid ink batter fried to perfection.
Highly recommend the sake. I ordered a standard glass of sweet sake ($7), and it was very smooth and easy to drink even for those who donāt drink much.
