Even with this heatwave, we still craved for Nan Hwa Charcoal Fishboat. The soup and fresh fish never disappoint me. Of course the tastiness and texture of the fish do differ depending of the type of fish you order. 🐟

We ordered red snapper for the first time due to the ongoing promotion Nan Hwa is offering. Though it was not as good as dragon grouper, it was a steal for paying only $19 for this. Besides ample chunks of fish, the yam thickened the soup, crispy sole fish made the soup extra savory and fragrant, and cabbage added sweetness. Gonna be back again before the promotion ends. 😙
