This is my first acai bowl ($6.90 for small) after 22 years haha. And perhaps I haven't eaten enough acai bowls to make a proper comparison, but this was really delicious!

The acai had a sweet, grape-like flavor and was blended to smoothie perfection. The acai rested atop a base of chia seed pudding. It was topped with an assortment of nature's candy; strawberry, kiwi, banana and dragonfruit. A sprinkle of granola, coconut flakes and nut butter finished off the beautiful bowl.

The medley of textures and flavors really astounded me and I really enjoyed this one. I didn't think the base was overly icy or anything, it was a just a really delicious tasting fruity dessert.
