Japanese Cuisine 🇯🇵

This place offers a good ambiance, and coupled with sushi, it makes a good option for anyone who's looking for a meal of sushi. A box of sushi can be shared even between 2, as their portions are pretty big.

They've just introduced a new lunch menu which focuses on rice bowls such as bara chirashi don, salmon don, and truffle yakiniku don (which is of course my favourite). Break the runny yolk of the onsen tamago egg over the seared Black Angus short rib with a dollop of truffle soy sauce. Only $14.80! The lunch menu is available from 11.30am to 3pm daily.

Crunchy cucumber along with avocado wrapped with sushi rice, topped with aburi salmon and mentaiyaki. Finishing touches of mayonnaise and really fresh ikura. These rolls were better then our expectations. 6 for $14.80++ left us wanting more even when the plate was cleared.

Music is dope, the food is even better. The korean minced rib steak & joo bossam is 😍 And makgeolli spam #joobarsg

Truffle tonkatsu with multigrain rice set. Could smell the truffle before the set reached my table but there was barely any truffle taste when I ate it though. At least the pork was really tender. Love the multigrain rice with beans inside! With free flow lettuce and free green tea for $17.00(after gst & tax), this was really worth it!

Miharu has moved to Millenia and is now closed at Robertson Quay. Menu is updated again and my usual choice is now #13. Still as good, and the space is 3x bigger. Ramen in comfort!

Would anyone have expected this lunch set to be $12 20 years ago? One of the rare benefits of globalization, expect to have really good food at low prices at this lovely shop. Only at lunch time though! Nonetheless this is a great place to de-stress because everyone is super chirpy!

Chef Peter aka the nazi chef who founded wasabi tei, chikuwa tei and mitsuba has a weird habit of buying and selling japanese restaurants after giving them a make over. His latest muse is now Kaiware at triple one Somerset where he has revamped the place for a couple months. Catch him before he anyone knows about this place! #SETHEATS

Packed dinner for my busy day. All this for $3.50!

Their value set at $10.50 comes with a rice of choice (sesame/brown), a soup of choice and just $1 top up to enjoy a drink. Really liked that we were able to enjoy a simple Japanese meal at an affordable price. Would love to try their curry rice sometime!
