not as affordable as the other restaurants i've been to, but it is conveniently located across the park in front of diamond plaza, and is housed in a really nice shophouse. the restaurant named au parc right beside it is also by the same guys apparently

this affordable restaurant is located in an old mansion, tucked away in alleys. it serves up traditional vietnamese dishes, with some having a slight french twist (their owners are french)! my family loves this + cuc gach quan restaurant :-)

two houses located opposite each other, serving up old school style vietnamese food. not your usual pho etc., they serve dishes that are normally cooked in homes, looks like a chinese meal but tastes so much different! try this for something non-gimmicky

head to l'usine for a relaxed cafe + shop space, located on the second floor above an art market! :-)
