I think I found my go to burger! Sooo goood. I really tasted the fusion of flavors. Beef burger with goat cheese and onion jam. You can use whatever meat you like. I would have used lamb but I only had beef with me. Make the onion jam (or caramelized) first by mixing olive oil, onions, red wine vinegar and brown sugar together. Cook until liquid's gone. Add water if you feel it's too dry. Make sure onions are soft and transparent (jam-like texture). Let it cool while you cook your patty (with whatever spices you mixed it with). Placed the goat cheese on top of the hot patty while still in the pan). Toast whole wheat buns. Spread dijon mustard. In order: Onion jam. Patty. Goat cheese. Lettuce. Tomato.
