Loved the ambience of this place! It’s super peaceful and a great spot to just chill and people-watch. What really surprised me was the matchaβ€”you can tell they use quality matcha by how vibrant and green it is. The smashed beef focaccia sandwich was also very flavourful and perfectly toasted. Service was impeccable too. I’d definitely come back again!

Had a great experience at yeast side on a weekday afternoon! Sheltered and only a few minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT.

Got a salmon sandwich and tried their new foam matcha (they use niko neko) and it was really good ❀️

Will come back to try their pizzas!

Love the nostalgic but modern aesthetics and fusion food choices, which is fresh in the cafe scene imo. Service was patient and attentive too:)

Fav items:
πŸ› Hainanese Pork Chop
crispy breaded exterior paired with tender meat, even after it cooled it was still crispy

🍡 Matcha Dream
really liked the flavour of this one, not too sweet and the foam paired with the matcha perfectly

will be back for more!

Yeast Side best side 🌞 a large, cosy space for working while eating.
We had the mac and cheese, salmon burrata tartine and their Hojicha and Matcha cloud drinks!
Their drinks definitely stood out, and they use powder from niko neko so they really hit the spot! Their mac and cheese was very rich and best shared with 2 people. Salmon sandwich was good, recommended to eat quick when fresh. We will be back to try their pizzas!

Brunch here for my birthday celebration and the staff was attentive and friendly. They took the time to explain the diff menus and recommended items!
Ordered:
- gnocchi
- Matcha sweet potato drink
- hainanese pork chop ❀️

The drink tasted great, with an ideal ratio of sweet potato and Matcha! Gnocchi had an umami taste. Highlight was definitely the pork chop with just the right amount of fat and meat, that made it moist, yet it kept the crunch on the outside and softness on the inside β€οΈπŸ–

πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ love the sourdough base they use. Gives a nice crisp but chewy texture. Drinks were good too!

Nice casual restaurant with a chill ambience, would come again to eat before or after watching a movie haha

This cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy catching up with friends in a cozy corner away from the bustles of the city life!
With the seating area on the second level, they had a wonderful view and tall windows where you get to enjoy good food with a pretty scenery 😊
I'd highly suggest visiting if you just want a break, away from all the hustles and bustles~

I ordered the Salmon Burrata Tartine which was a refreshing sandwich packed with plenty of fresh veggies and thick salmon slices! It was delicious especially paired with what my friend ordered: the "Hold my Salami" pizza!! A slice of the slightly salty and tangy pizza then a bite of the refreshing salmon sandwich πŸ˜‹ was truly the perfect pair~

Would definitely recommend especially if you're studying nearby in Ngee Ann Poly! Perfect place to hangout before AND after classes.

Popped by Yeastside for lunch and it did not disappoint. The Bestside Breakfast Pizza was cheesy, eggy, crispy bacon, all on a perfect crust. So good we considered ordering another.

Located at the basement of LYF, good place for lunch!

so impressed by the food at seng house! simply enjoyed every ingredient used in our food (even down to the vegetables!), definitely cooked by chefs who are proud of their food. although the duck confit got a little dry after a while, still would give 5 stars as i would really love to try the rest of their menu and also the matcha dream, that we didnt get to try as it was unavailable :( shoutout to the kind and welcoming staff as well!

the salami sourdough pizza crust was chewy and enjoyable to eat! the smashed beef foccacia sandwich was something new i have never tried before - really liked the taste of the foccacia with the fillings. craft beer went well with our meal, really smooth. staff were friendly too, nice ambience

decided to try out seng house for dinner and was honestly v impressed w the food. had the duck confit which was decent but the spaghetti al granchio was rly good stuff. every bite was creamy and filled w crab meat. also ordered the smoked squid for sharing and it was also very well excuted, squid was tender and had the right amount of charr, the pomelo brought abit of acidty and kept the dish refreshing throughout. would like to try their other dishes in the future

Love the pizza and fries, which is affordable and convenient. Great ambience!
