I stopped by Yeastside for lunch, and it was such a great choice. The place has a cozy vibe, and it was really cool watching them make the focaccia from scratch right in front of us.

Had the Smoked Salmon Burrata, and it was super tasty. The focaccia was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fresh smoked salmon with tomatoes was the perfect combo. Every bite was packed with flavour.

I also tried the Mentaiko Mac and Cheese, and it was really filling. The mentaiko added this rich, savoury punch to the creamy mac and cheese, which made it stand out from the usual version.

Overall, the meal was delicious and really satisfying. The drinks were great as well, had the matcha and hojicha foam series. The vibe was chill, and the staff were friendly. Can't wait to go back

Visited Yeastside for brunch with my partner! It was such a chill place.

We had the hojicha and matcha drinks from the foam series and they were made with Niko Neko powders! They were so good and easy to drink. Most importantly, the drinks matched the vibes and the food so well.

We also ordered the Salmon Burrata Focaccia Sandwich and the Mentaiko Mac & Cheese! The Focaccia Sandwich was so fresh! Paired with the creamy and light burrata and the savoury, fresh salmon, every bite was perfect.

We ordered the Mentaiko Mac & Cheese because we’ve never seen any restaurants offer this, and was curious if it would taste too heavy. However, it was so good! We never thought mentaiko and mac & cheese would go so well together 😍

Loved the food and vibes at Yeastside. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great time at Yeastside! Tried their crispy hot mentaiko fries and the Yeastside Bakkie — both were delicious and full of flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy with a rich, savory mentaiko topping, while the bakkie was hearty and satisfying. On top of that, the staff were very attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Crab meat + hash brown + pickled onion Mr Crabs focaccia is surprisingly refreshing and tasty 😋

Passed by this easy-going eatery and was recommended their smashed beef focaccia sandwich - a double-layered Angus beef burger-like sandwich. The beef was smoky and tender, the focaccia soft and the bite crunchy from the leafy romaine lettuce. A Smash hit indeed, paired nicely with a warm glass of hojicha!

Good spot for a chill weekend brunch! Located just a few minutes away from city square mall

Got the salmon burrata and smashed beef focaccia sandwich to share with a friend! Both rlly hearty with a good amount of filling:) Ingredients were fresh too

Also tried the sweet cream foam matcha and hojicha drinks. Not a huge fan but the hojicha was pretty good - I like the roasted, nutty flavour!

They also have a good selection of craft beers! Sadly, was too full for a beer but definitely coming back to try (esp the sours)

My friend and I ordered the salmon burrata and smashed beef sandwich to share, which turned out to be a great combi! The smashed beef was basically a cheeseburger filling but instead of a patty bun you have the soft focaccia. The salmon burrata was a great refresher to the palate after the heavy smash beef, because the burrata was cold, creamy and fresh, and paired well with the smoked salmon. I think sharing these two flavours was a great choice otherwise we would’ve felt too heavy or greasy after having one sandwich of the same flavour.

I also ordered the hojicha topped with the sweet cream foam, which was a good balance of sweet and nutty fragrance. I was excited to try out their hojicha as it’s from niko neko and it didn’t disappoint!

Yeast side also has craft beers which all looked really interesting, so I’ll be sure to come back and try them another time! Vibes was chill and located within the Lyf hotel :)

I had the privilege of dining at Yeast Side @ Farrer Park last weekend for lunch. My partner and I were walking around the area when we stumbled upon this establishment. We ordered 2 Focaccia Sandwiches: Mr Crabs and Smashed Beef. The bread was perfectly toasted, with a slight tangy taste owing to the fact that the sandwiches were made from sourdough. The Crab sandwich was loaded with a generous amount of perfectly seasoned crab meat which was complimented with a nice slice of hashbrown to provide contrasting textures. Smashed beef sandwich were loaded with deliciously seasoned meat charred to a perfect smokiness. Both sandwiches were delightful. We also tried their iced latte and matcha latte. The iced latte was done well, with the aroma of their chosen beans shining through each mouthful of latte.

This is my first time trying Keen’s Bagelry at Asia Square and I am super satisfied with Saitama ($17), which features a hearty bagel with Norwegian smoked salmon, avocado, sunny-side up, tomatoes, sliced cheddar, house-made Garlic aioli and arugula. The ingredients are fresh and generous, and the flavours worked well together. This is so big that I was struggling to finish it for lunch, but not complaining!

*Sea Salt Peanut Butter ($5.60) v thick texture sauce tbh but then corner of the toast quite dry aftertaste.
*Ham & Pork Floss ($11.70)
* Pork Floss Egg Crepe Roll ($7.60) a bit oily but thick crepe roll.
* Fresh Soya Bean ($2.80)
* Coffee Latte ($5.80)

Wasn’t expecting this to be so dense. It got serious weight to it. Texture’s more chewy bun than classic bagel but I didn’t mind. The taro filling was smooth and mellow, and the mochi centre added a nice bit of bounce. Loved the coconut flakes on top which gave it that nostalgic, old-school bakery feel 》$3.80
