Food was average, but service left a bad taste.
Visited Grin Affair recently, attracted by a clearly advertised discount. However, when it came time to pay, the manager refused to honour the discount. There were no disclaimers stated anywhere on the listing, yet when we pointed this out, there was no effort made to recover the situation — no apology, no alternative offer, nothing.
We even kindly suggested they update their listing to avoid misleading future customers, but our feedback was brushed off with indifference.
Overall, very disappointing experience — not just because of the discount issue, but the poor attitude towards customer service. Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to.
Meat Skewers were all very hard and tasted frozen, can find better skewers elsewhere the only saving grace was the porkbelly wrapped with enoki
Tried the mentaiko salmon carbonara with ebiko
Love this pasta! The mentaiko and carbonara combination always work
It feels a little Jelat but disappears so quickly when it’s shared.
Tried their coffees as well — like the dirty sesame and iced latte.
Spent around $80 for two sandwiches and two pasta (2 one for one deals) and 4 drinks so a great meal!
One for one pasta — the portion is great.
The taste is pretty average but the portion does make up for it.
Chicken schnitzel and cubano:
Such a good portion and cool plating. The sandwiches are great — portions are great and the sourdough base is soft.
Coffee was more on the bitter side but the place is a nice spot to hangout and chill during the afternoon!
[DOWNTOWN, SINGAPORE] Fancy some quality Chinese dishes in a classy yet casual ambience? @numb.restaurant offers such experience in the heart of the downtown working area.
Their beef dishes, Stir-Fried Beef with Fresh Chilli & Ginger 🍖 ($34.80) and US Beef in Golden Broth with Sichuan Peppercorn 🍖 ($37.80) were stellar. Both beef slices were tender & well seasoned, with the latter slices thicker. They really lived up to their name, as it was really numbing 🔥 the garlic pieces were abundant and had so much umami!
Don't miss out on their Typhoon Shelter Fried Fish 🐟 ($36.80) too, as it was so crispy yet soft and fluffy within. The fish meat was fresh and sweet! The crumbles on top were best with some rice 😍
If it's too spicy, the Blooming Roselle Soda 🥤 ($6.80) is here to help. So refreshing especially with the spicy dishes offered!
Thank you @numb.restaurant for the invite 😍 we were so satisfied with the food! If you are coming down, do bring along your Citibank or OCBC credit card because there are discounts available just by using them ✨
Was not stated in the T&C at all but the free bowl must be $11. I was informed only AFTER I already paid for the first bowl ($14) at the kiosk as guided by the staff.

📍My Village, #01-04
Laksa Olio ($11.50) features spaghetti, prawns, cherry tomato and edamame in a laksa sauce that is surprisingly flavourful and spicy (but nothing too fiery).
Aglio Olio ($10.50) comes with spaghetti, chicken baby spinach, cherry tomato and mushroom sautéed in garlicky oil. This is pretty decent Aglio Olio - simple and tasty.
Miso Butter ($11.50) comes with spaghetti, chicken, mushroom and cherry tomato tossed in an addictive miso butter sauce. This is pretty special and delicious!
