Nothing turns me on more than a solid avosmash with poached eggs for brunch. Sadly there has been no outstanding ones in all the cafes I’ve tried here
In Adelaide at Mr Sunshine cafe there’s the best avosmash that exists on earth and you must have it if you’re ever in SA
Freshly smashed avocado on buttered brioche with roasted seeds and nuts and dukkah on top, served with poached perfect eggs and grilled haloumi.. take me to taste heaven already!!
Coffee there is also 👍🏻 from deGroot
Balanced blend of both matcha and avocado taste atop a cookie base that wasn’t too sweet either. Perfect end to our brunch.
The cafe was spacious and had a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very considerate.. they noticed i was a little cold under the air conditioning and offered me a glass of warm water👏🏼👏🏼
My OMG has only two flavours .. greentea and Injeolmi. Topped with redbeans and nuts.. it was a glorious mess of a delicious bingsu
Beautifully scented hojicha for teatime and the place very chill at 4 in the afternoon. Perfect to catch a breath between errands
Across the crazee Brownian movement that is clarke quay is one of my favourite cafes FBB. The walk up there at night is serene and romantic. Had the prawn pasta and almond crusted salmon using Burpple 1-1 ~$20 for both mains..really worth it! Hossan Leong featured in the finale as a chocolaty hazelnutty tall cake, very fabulously baked by the baker boy
Fuelplus cafe really lives up to the plus+! We had the neighbours curry and salmon madness $18 each and used Burpple 1-1 so it was really worth it. Portions were sizeable ..think ang moh portions..the curry was rich, flavourful, smacked with vegetables and sambal and a whole well seasoned chicken leg. Salmon madness saw a generous portion of salmon with root vegetables. Finished off with coffees and the lavendar earl grey cake ... satiated😜
Nutty party and Cocoglow for lunch today as a meal replacement and now am full of fluid and nut butter😛 Was alone and tried redeeming 1-1 but was told that 2 humans needed to be present for that. Tried catching a random stranger but failed so ended up with a paid small cocoglow which was perhaps the wiser thing as i cant imagine doing two large acai cups😂
The main reason for visiting Stuttgart cafe is this gorgeous blackforest cake with layered fresh cream, kirsch-laden black cherries on a sweetened shortcrust base coming together as a perfect symphony to end the meal, which whilst not the star of the show was tasty enough for us to wolf down all that BBQ pulled chicken goodness.
Tamarind hill is beautiful.. the food is as exquisite. Featured is their dessert platter$28 comprising an array of thai sweets that ended a dinner date beautifully
Como Cuisine is a lovely place.. beautifully decorated and having great service. Had the Rhubarb and Lychee trifle ..it had the right combination of tartness and sweetness to wakeup any sleeping tastebud. Rhubarb is quite hard to work with and this trifle was done to perfection. A close contender was the almond cake with raspberry coulis, rich in its almond sugee taste with the coulis that tasted like yummy concentrated ribena. Chairs were super comfortable too
Three delicious mini soufflés and their signature bouillabaisse which was satisfying and yummylicious, made more enjoyable with Burpple Beyond 😛
Almost too pretty to eat but caved in and savoured every mouthful of this very decent cheesecake. Big street serves Malaysian cuisine with a twist and given the pricing and good service it’s certainly worth a visit.
