Fried rice with shrimps, pickled garlic and asparagus (MIA). No asparagus to be seen but pickled garlic gives it a nice enough kick. Portion size was plentiful and I couldn't finish it. Best dish out of all.
There were whole cloves of garlic in the risotto which was too much for hubs. Risotto was tasty enough and portion size was satisfying. I thought they will incorporate garlic oil into the risotto or somehow blend the taste of galic better into the risotto but just putting in whole cloves of garlic in it is just lazy in my opinion.
Soft bread with whole cloves of garlic fried in olive oil and anchovies. Unremarkable. Maybe I should have dipped the bread with more of the oil?
To try in HK
Almost cried when I saw the portion size of this dish because I was particularly hungry today. Taste wise was just alright. Overall, nothing redeeming from this plate.
We were expecting melted cheese to ooze out of this cordon bleu but no signs of it. Rustic mashed potatoes was the only good thing on that plate. For oozing cheese cordon bleu, please proceed to (surprise, surprise) Secret Recipe.
Love to come here for Sunday lunches. Unpretentious Mexican fare. I like the flavorful Al Pastor soft taco but hubs finds it too sweet. He usually goes for the burrito and sandwich.. They also have good quesadillas.
I wanted to like them. But the frosting was too buttery for my liking. I guess I'm not a cupcake person. The cakes themselves were moist enough. My favorite thing about them is their name!
