I haven't eaten Claypot Lou Shu Fun in so long. Lou shu fun is some sort of rice noodle shaped like a "mouse-tail" hahahah
The lou shu fun at Fat Spoon is definitely one of the best I've tried. It looks little but the portion is huge and they are so generous with the gravy and meat. The gravy coats all the noodles perfectly for every bite.
Next is the Claypot Beef Noodle. A bit like Vietnamese beef noodles. There's just SOMETHING different about it but I don't know what. Maybe the soup. The soup tastes sour but not overwhelming. It compliments the dish. Very appetising dish.
Also! The menu over here is very pocket friendly and homey. Imagine Chicken ABC soup as a dish! That's something you normally find only at home.

Another thing unique here is they present your bill in Enid Blyton story books. My friend said they used to present their menu in the books. Haha how creative. The interior (and the toilet) is also decorated with very old school things like old comic strips and old school coffee shop chairs and tables!

Benedict III @ The Red Beanbag

RBB has brought Eggs Benedict to a whole new level. French toast topped with sautéed mushrooms on one side, roasted garlic butter portobello mushroom on the other, turkey ham/beef bacon, sautéed kale and two poached eggs covered with hollandaise sauce.
This is amazing! If you want an Egg Benny for breakfast/brunch, get this at RBB! You will not regret it.
French toast was so fluffy and not too sweet. The other toppings compliments each other. This was my first time eating kale and I love it. It wasn't too bitter! Try to have everything in one bite. It's a perfect party in your mouth. The roasted portobello was amazing and juicy.
But the most important thing is the poached eggs. THEY WERE PERFECT. Look how orange the yolk is. I followed their tip/advice to eat the Benedict III, to burst the egg and let the french toast absorb the all yolk sauce. Indeed it was amazing. 😍 Food: 8/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 24 - yeah RBB can be quite expensive. But this is definitely worth it and you have to pay the price for good food. It's not too overpriced in my opinion. For having french toast and an egg Benny all at once with amazing ingredients that are cooked to perfection.)

The dessert is superb! The main course is woahhh!!!

I cook when I am desperately hungry huhu
