1f1 tasting portion Tried the lamb ragu and the mentaiko pasta. We chose the pumpkin Pasta with the ragu sauce but we felt another pasta would have went better with the rich sauce. I love the lamb sausage too with the feta. The mentaiko was nice as usual. We also tried the mushroom soup but it was pretty mid. Very worth work burpple deal!

Tiramisu ($8.90) Small and it was served just in a small container. The alcohol taste was quite strong and the mascarpone was sweet and creamy, but we couldn’t really taste the coffee in it. All in all, average and not memorable.

Ragu ($25.90) with Beetroot Lunghi I thought this would look better but the aesthetic was a bit lacking. The portion was also small and the beef was tough. The beef cubes were flavourful, but very tough (full of tendons that were very tough to bite). The sauce for this was quite watery too and didn’t stick to the beetroot Lunghi well.

smile dessert honest opinion - the place is super pretty and instagrammable but unfortunately the quality of the food doesn’t really live up to the hype :(

Fruit Teas (Mixed & Dragonfruit) | $7.90 refreshing goodness - brewed with green tea, these were simple and thirst-quenching. if you love a little tanginess in your drinks, go for the mixed fruit tea, which had a good balance of sweet and sour.

Thai Snow Ice | $16.90 a kinder surprise in dessert form - not only was the thai milk tea flavoured ice a delight to have, you'll also be able to dig in to a hidden mix of crunchy corn grits, dried strawberry, raisins and chocolate bits. love biting into these crunchy bits!

Waffle ice cream Ice cream is really bad. Waffle is still ok. Not worth the effort.

Good burger Soft shell crab burger @ $24+ Comes with choice of fries - we chose wasabi mayo The soft shell crab was a bit salty. The chilli crab sauce was not bad. Overall was ok, the egg in the burger alr burst when it was served. The wasabi mayo was quite spicy. Overall ok, but probably not worth $24.

Beef Quessadillas $15 Beer place with nice clean decor Beef Quessadillas for $15. Got beef burger with 1 for 1 offer on beyond. Food portion was small for anyone and options also very limited. But what I ordered tasted good. Staff unaware about promotions but still friendly. All and all, I am confused about my experience. It's a nice place to visit once, but can't be a regular goto hub for me. Expect around $20/ppax even on Burpple Beyond.

Awesome craft beers Bad photo but the beers were great! Super worth for tap beer even without the 3 for 3 burpple deal! Loved the fresh haze IPA and would get it again but I would pass on the tart peach kolsch and the ciders next time.

Wonderful Drinks, Delicious Bar Snacks TAP boasts many different varieties of craft beers that come straight from the chilled taps (not from bottles!). Each craft beer ($10 per pint 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) have their own unique characteristics, and I would say that the critus and fruity flavours are safe for most first timers. Their bar snacks do have quality as well, and their truffles fries ($12 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) did give the truffle kick we all craved for.

chausson aux pommes (apple turnover) the caramelised pastry was vv nice but i really didn’t like their apple filling as it was quite sour. esp when this is eaten at room temp it just wasn’t enjoyable

pain au chocolate aux amandes loved this! the combination of chocolate and frangipane was heavenly 🤤🤤 i usually stay away from frangipane as the ones i’ve had before were all way too sweet but this one was just nice. it’s definitely still on the sweeter side but i think it’s appropriate for this pastry. i’ve also tried their almond croissant which is also v nice but i prefer this one!

Breakfast Waffle If you like something savoury with waffle, then this will be the dish to order. The waffle was crispy on the outside while soft inside. Scrambled eggs were done perfectly.

Eatigo deal Had 50% deal via eatigo hence decided to give it a try. Ordered the crabmeat linguine which is not bad. Generous amount of crabmeat and cream. Can give it a try if you around the area

Pasta, Iberico pork, cauliflower The portion was on the smaller side but food tasted not bad! Not a lot of mains options.

Iberico Secreto ($26+ U.P.), Barramundi ($26+ U.P.), Roasted Cauliflower ($15+), Pita & Hummus ($12+, Not Pictured) Moosehead has been on my wish list to check out with girlfriends for a long time, a Saturday evening in 2022 was finally the right time. While our mains of barramundi and iberico secreto came in “dainty” portions fit for ladies, they were well handled and packed coordinating flavours with their condiments. Our sides of cauliflower and pita with hummus then kept us satiated. This is a place I’d return to for a causal alfresco sort of dining ambience with good food.

Good flavours Barramundi was ok with the sweet tomatoes but the fish was not the most fresh. only worth with burpple 1f1!

chendol royale & matcha mascarpone paid $6.80 for 1-1 drinks so q a steal but nothing spectacular abt these drinks the chendol was a bit too sweet n the green jelly cldnt rlly come up the straw even tho it was the big bbt straw so u end up w no drink left n lots of green jelly n red bean sobs n the matcha was p mild n not the most authentic so

Strawberry Shortcake Interesting to know that they actually would change the menu. So now they have introduced a whole new range of drinks and waffles when I came back. The new waffles series now depict a ice cream stick alike. The Singapore’s first ice cream shaped honeycomb waffles that freshly made upon order. Coming with total of 5 flavours to choose from. Gotten Strawberry Shortcake which use Korean strawberries, together with fresh cream cheese and chocolate shavings biscuits. Go grab one stick and enjoy eating it like an ice cream (that won’t melt at all).

HASHBROWN BURGER Beef patty, bacon, pineapple ring, bottom mushroom between 2 hashbrown; beef patty is thick & cooked to well done; hashbrown is very crispy, even the piece that is below the whole burger remains crispy till the last bite, but tad too oily; bacon is not chewy & tough; over generous with BBQ sauce that it covered the taste of all ingredients; came with very crispy curly fries that remains crispy even after end of meal, & no oily feel; greens at the side is quite fresh but too much sauce for my liking..
