Blossom ($8.50) I did saw the cake previously when I go down for plutodays shop lol but my stomach is full with another stuff. I decided to drop by if got chance at nearby. So I did passby partially bc of running errands at there. I decided to try blossom since cny is coming real soon by time I post it out. Blossom like beginning of the spring theme so it just nice to match well with the season. So it's taste like mooncake texture due to the shape lol but still got sour and bitter aftertaste. But overall the cake still got the classic cafe aesthetic vibes inside the mall.

Part 2/2 - Rosee We also chose the 𝗥𝗼𝘀é𝗲 ($8.50), which looks like a teardrop with rose petals on top. The rose and lychee flavours combined well, but the soft, sticky skin wasn’t to my fancy. Although the tarts weren’t perfect, I’m still inclined to return because of the 1-for-1 Tart + Drink deal on Burpple Beyond.

Part 1/2 - Blossom Fang Patisserie is a hidden gem. Located in a mall that isn’t near to any MRT station and doesn’t see a lot of human traffic, its tranquility provides the perfect backdrop for a quiet afternoon. Among the gorgeous tarts on display, we picked the 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗺 ($8.50), which looked like a tree without leaves standing on a patch of grass. The tangy yuzu interior tasted great, though the matcha was very faint.

1-for-1 pizza Overall: 4/5 ⭐️ Food: 4/5 ⭐️ Price (with discount): 5/5 ⭐️ Ambience: 3/5 ⭐️ Service: 5/5 ⭐️ Overall bready yet soft sourdough crusts, with their specialty crispy chili oil to pair with on the side if you prefer (not the best though). The downside is that we were there during happy hour but we weren’t allowed to use both burpple and happy hour discounts. We sat inside which was a bit humid on the evening that we went. Staff were very nice despite it being a busier night. Paid $28 (including GST and service charge) for 2 pizzas, so it was very worth with the burpple discount! Not so classic marg ($24) Loved the buffalo mozzarella! Almighty cheese ($24) There was goat cheese as part of it and with nice crispy bits on the top to add more texture. Drizzled with hot honey (I think it’s meant to be hot as in spicy but it wasn’t that spicy). I personally love the savoury and sweet combo.

Butter Chicken ($28) Quite a unique combi and while the butter chicken couldn't replicate the creamy goodness of the authentic ones, it still passed muster. Loved the addition of the pickled onions as well, giving every bite a nice crunch and a slight tang.

Plant Square ($26) A medley of colourful veges adorned over a beautiful tomato sauce atop a delicious sourdough base. Think semi-dried tomatoes, huge black olives, slices of grilled eggplant and zucchini, slivers of mushrooms and bell peppers and artichokes. Lovely variety and all coming together so well. The accompanying chilli oil was pure goodness as well - drizzle it onto your pizza and also the crust for an added oomph.

1f1 tasting portion Tried the lamb ragu and the mentaiko pasta. We chose the pumpkin Pasta with the ragu sauce but we felt another pasta would have went better with the rich sauce. I love the lamb sausage too with the feta. The mentaiko was nice as usual. We also tried the mushroom soup but it was pretty mid. Very worth work burpple deal!

Tiramisu ($8.90) Small and it was served just in a small container. The alcohol taste was quite strong and the mascarpone was sweet and creamy, but we couldn’t really taste the coffee in it. All in all, average and not memorable.

Ragu ($25.90) with Beetroot Lunghi I thought this would look better but the aesthetic was a bit lacking. The portion was also small and the beef was tough. The beef cubes were flavourful, but very tough (full of tendons that were very tough to bite). The sauce for this was quite watery too and didn’t stick to the beetroot Lunghi well.

Gray's review Things to take note for dinners. They only except 2 burpple vouchers even if you have 6 or more pax. Restraunt policy not found on the app. Do check before hand on corkage policy and have it documented with them eg. Email or whatsapp as it seems their restaurant owner might agree to buy a bottle free a corkage but their restaurant manager might not. They ultimately honoured the free 1 bottle corkage but the alignment internally could have been improved which would tranlate to improved customer experience. Food wise I do think feel it is on the disappointing side. Scallops were over cook, pasta over cook, pork tomohawk was on the overcooked (hence dry) side and the vongole seemed like a healthy soup (not much taste, maybe this was the intent). Risotto felt very different, flavour was thin, sauce not consistent with certain parts abit on the watery side and the rice also didnot feel evenly cooked. Wine list is pricy, just come mentally prepared for it. Good parts about this place i would say is the amdience. Service on the whole is good, except with the tension point with the restaraunt manager on the wine corkage.

Good main Iberico pork jowl @ $38++ It's tasty but feels a little bit undercooked? Or maybe we are not used to the texture, but overall still a good dish!

Great pasta Gary's signature seafood pasta @ $32++ Love the homemade pasta and very generous portion of seafood. The tomato sauce was really good with the whole dish as well! Got this with burpple beyond deal so it's really good!

Good food but poor service… Food and price were actually sooo good! Loved the tagliatelle the sauce soooo delish but felt that the manager’s attitude changed completely when she heard we were using burpple… like she didn’t even look at us when talking to us compared to the friendliness showed when sitting us down 🥲

Pappedelle Beef Ragu $28 - most expensive pasta on the menu but made half price with burpple :) generous amount of beef and the pappedelle is well done~

Salmon Mentai Don. salmon pieces were plenty and sauce was generous too. loved it, rate 9/10 good ambience and vibes for evening drinks too

another yummy find! if you're looking for decent japanese food in chinatown! we had the truffle chirashi don ($22) and aburi salmon don ($20). the truffle flavour was v present but not overpowering. portions of fish were decent & pretty fresh. the aburi salmon had yummy mentaiko that made the dish tasty. after 1 for 1 and ++, we paid about $28. recommend! 👍🏻

Great value for money chirashi don! Nomiya Izakaya @nomiyasg offers several dons and small bites, and they are all of great quality! The Truffle Chirashi Don ($20 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond ) came in a rather large portion, and they were very generous with the sashimi quantity too! The Chirashi don came with pieces of salmon, tuna, hamachi (I think) and they were all so fresh 😍 the rice was fantastic as well, as it had the right amount of vinegar and truffle oil without making it too surfeiting. The wasabi is also the freshly grated version. At its price point even without burpple beyond, it's definitely worth it. The portion of Brussells Sprouts ($8.90) may be small, but each piece was packed full of flavour. The pieces were very well charred, as the smoky aroma was very strong without being bitter. The kombu butter used gave so much richness and fragrance that it was too addictive! Wished that they gave more 🥹 Now this is one izakaya that I will be back again and again!

Poet's Poison Love this friendly little Whisky bar and this cocktail with Robert Burns Malt Whisky and Raspberry Vodka Liqueur in the test tube that you can add for additional poison. A cocktail for those who like it just a teeny bit sweet whilst still being a strong drink.

Hanabi Maki This hanabi maki is less dramatic than usual, due to less tenkasu. But it's still my favourite maki here.

Aburi Salmon Miso Maki & Royal Glory Maki My first time trying the one on the right. It uses purple rice, ebi, cucumber, peach and mango sauce.

Buta Shio & Chicken Teriyaki Edible but not their strongest suit.

second time!!! 🍝 used burpple 1 for 1 for the mains - had the grilled salmon pasta (honestly 10/10 for us) & the steak pasta! salmon pasta was such cheesy goodness i regretted not getting it for myself! was eyeing my friend's dinner the whole time 😆😆😆 the steak was not bad but the dish as a whole was js quite mediocre. the sauce was rly salty & the aglio olio js wasn't very fragrant. would not order again total spent $28.80 for 2 dishes after discount - pretty worth !!!

1-1 dinner ordered the chicken parmigiana and grilled salmon pasta. the portions were really big that we almost struggled to finish it so definitely worth coming to try with the 1 for 1 deals! paid $28.80 total for the 2 mains. the chicken was nice and tender, with cheese on top that realy complemented the flavour:) tater tots was crispy and yummy!

1-1 Dinner at Sarnies! First time at Sarnies to celebrate a special occasion :) Angus Beef Stew was really hardly and super delicious!! (Super tasty and flavorful gravy and nice portion of beef and sides). Glad the place feels super casual, cozy and has great ambience. Highly recommend the Breadcrumbed Fried Portobello mushrooms. Staff Haziq, Kim and Navi are super friendly. Can't wait to come back!
