Located in a coffeeshop near Bukit Batok MRT, this Hokkien Mee stall is a delight for those of you who love your Hokkien mee to be of the wetter version. Each mouthful comes with a good slurp of the super flavourful broth! The noodles also carry a tinge of wok hei.

I also love that there is a generous amount of ingredients thrown in just look at the sotong, pork belly strips and pork lard thrown in! I opted out of prawns though. The chilli is low on the spicy meter, can ask for more if you want more kick. Good to try if you find yourself in the west!

The 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒆 ($16) is a blend of creamy mascarpone cheese with sweet Suritae beans and topped with chive oil. Love the crispy oven-baked sourdough topped with creamy, sweet, and savory mascarpone.

This simple looking trotters was pretty filling actually.
Definitely tender texture, loved the large intestines too.
Indulgence experience.

Buenas noches! A trip to Barcelona as we dine in @tapas24sg the first Asian outpost of Barcelonian restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred @CarlesAbellanchef

For mains, we had the Paella de Gambas Al Ajillo, a hearty update to the classic garlic prawn dish (Gambas Al Ajillo) served with seasonal vegetables and mushrooms. Scoring a beautiful soccarat (crusty crispy base), the rich Spanish staple is umami-laden which we soon polished off.

And you can’t leave without having a tipple or two, especially when they serve variety of cavas, sangrias and Spanish wines.

With black truffles, Ibérico ham and oozy buffalo mozzarella squished between lightly crunchy toasted white bread, this is best eaten piping hot.

I just had this last weekend and I am craving for it again. Fresh Bucket Pomfret 斗鲳鱼 paired with their flavourful soup. So good! Perfect for today's weather too.

$22.90 // ((crabmeat + mushroom in pink sauce)) this pasta rly nothing to fault, it was just that good 😍😍 the HOMEMADE pasta was amazing, you could really taste the doughy texture and it was cooked al dente (which i like a lot), loved the balance of cream sauce and tomato sauce and wow they were so generous with the ingredients!! there were huge chunks of juicy and sweet crabmeat and button mushrooms and there were shreds of crabmeat scattered all throughout the sauce. yumzzz!!! soo worth the price (AND calories)

If you're a tamagoyaki fan, you'll adore this! The thick layers of egg were bursting with a strong dashi flavour balanced by a subtle sweetness that kept me wanting more. To level it up even further, the tamagoyaki was deep-fried with panko to provide some exciting variation to its texture.

Welcome back, @hambaobao, with your permanent house now at TRIO! The 2-week old, 30-seater casual eatery features their 5 original signature burgers, in an industrial-themed space decked with navy green furniture and flooring, as well as its nostalgic white wall tiles. Customers can either choose to dine at the bar counter or right beside the floor-to-ceiling windows, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the shophouses around.

I had only one thing in my mind as I bit into the crispy pork belly burger; the burger that I would die for. While we waited for about half an hour, I must say it was definitely worth it! Every single bite returned with constant crackling of the crispy roasted pork skin and I am really not exaggerating (because I took extra note 😂). This mini tower was fully packed with thick chunks of pork belly, Japanese cucumber, dressed in mustard and hoisin sauce. You know how generous they are with the meat when the cuts of pork belly almost dropped off every single time you try to adjust the burger to get a good photography angle. The choice of hoi sin sauce as a complementary dressing was perfect to enhance the Asian flavour, but what’s more brilliant was the touch of English mustard to cut oiliness and sweetness of the hoi sin which could get jelak. Buns were really pillowy and buttery, can’t ask for more.

We were pretty impressed by the golden brown hand-cut fries ($2.50) too, slightly thicker cut but fried till extremely crispy. The seasoning was tasty and I enjoyed them with the potato skin on.

Definitely a place to return for affordable Asian-flavoured burgers in a comfortable dining setting. The good news, you can now make reservation to avoid long queues. Hop over to their IG for more details! Available for takeaways too.

I know, this place is famous for their wanton mee, but I found a dish better than that or their claypot rice. Their hor fun ($12/15) is really quite expensive for their portion but it's probably one of the best ones I've had. Good amount of wok hei, generous amount of ingredients and perfect consistency of sauce to mop it all up. This is one dish I find myself trying to clear up the scrapes instinctively.

Eng's Wanton Mee and Traditional Claypot Rice

I seldom rave about South American food , more so for the humble taco but I tried all 5 taco selection offered by Alegria on their Taco Tuesday Nites and loved it !

It’s an exotic fusion of complex flavours and textures that feels like a delicious bomb in your mouth with every bite .

The Pork Sisig was my favourite , followed by the beef , prawn and Brussel sprouts and chicken Satay . Worth trying .

This stall has always formed a long queue be it rain or sunny, day or night. It’s a newly open stall at Hoa Nam Building coffeeshop. I was curious to try what’s the hype is all about.

First I came at 12.30pm, and saw the queue is lesser than typical day, so I decided to give it a shot. Queue for about 20mins and wait for the food for another 30mins. Considered very fast compared to normal days.

Ordered their best seller: Yung Kor Hor (fried hor fan with gravy and egg yolk in center). Never tried this kind of dish before, it came with a raw egg in the middle of cooked hor fan.

The taste was under my expectation, as it wasn’t very special that worth the long waited. It just not your ‘typical’ hor fan. The dark soy sauce taste overpowering everything, and could tell it’s not even a finest grade of soy sauce. Aftertaste is a bit ‘jelak’. The dish is complimented with a good amount of fried pork lard - ladies, beware your diet.

For me, quite sensitive of lard and easily put on weight whenever I consumed pork lard. Overall I would give 7.5/10. I felt guilty after eating this food as too many starch and pork lard went into my tummy.
