This place churns out the best Paos. All of their Paos are handmade. Their soft and fluffy Pao skin is what I love most about their Paos. The hallmark of a good Pao skin is that it does not stick to fingers and teeth. This humble shop serves a variety of traditional pastries and different flavoured filled steamed buns ranging from the savoury kind such as Char Siew Pao to sweeter fillings such as Peanut Pao. But the most sought after item is their Curry Chicken Pao. This Pao is twice in size, encasing piping hot rich curry sauce with chucks of chicken and potato inside. The inner lining which has already soaked up the curry sauce is heavenly.
A week back I reviewed their pandan cake. After finishing our box, my family went back again for another, but this time we were a little adventurous and we bought home their yam and corn cake instead. Like the pandan cake, both of them also have that alternating kuih layer and sponge cake. These cakes are extremely light and refreshing with chunks of yam and corn in the cake for an extra bite. I recommend you eating them cold. After refrigerating them overnight, the kuih layer turns into a more cooling and smooth jelly like texture. It reminds me of Kuih Lapis as I can also have fun peeling and eating them by the layers
This place serves a handsome of Hakka Cuisine such as Hakka Yong Tau Foo, Steamed Yam With Pork and etc. But, the highlight here is their famous Paper Wrapped Chicken. Once the paper was torn apart, the fragrance and aroma starts rising up into your nostrils, teasing your senses. The meat is fork tender and very flavourful.

Alternating pandan flavoured kuih layer and sponge cake. This cake is extremely light and refreshing with that lingering pandan essence after every bite. It is not something straight up and in your face , but one that slowly grows on you. I love mine served cold as it gives it that cool and smooth jelly like texture. Just pop it in the fridge overnight and you can have cake for breakfast the next day.
Between the perfectly light sponge cake lies a smooth jelly like filling. The jelly like layer has the texture of kuih lapis which is smooth and cool. The pastel green layer is pandan flavoured while the light lavender bottom layer has a filling made with yam. Feeling so satisfied having to discover another hidden gem.

I have been eating their cakes for breakfast since my primary school days. This elderly couple is famous for their authentic marble cake but they do churn out some unique reiteration of the classic marble cake, such as pear cake, apple cake, matcha flavoured cake, cheese cake, corn cake and many more. The psychedelic stark of contrast from the chocolate and vanilla batter of their marble cake is very pleasing to the eyes. I love it, as it is not overly sweet and super buttery. The corn cake on the other hand has bits of corn kernels in it which adds a nice bite to the dessert. This cake is also very moist and it slices like velvet.
