- Noodles were really, really incredibly thin. Unlike any ramen we have eaten before. Unlike what we first had at their first ever stall in a Ang Mo Kio coffeeshop. It's more like wanton mee than Japanese ramen.
- Soup in the karata-men is nice
- Will not order jjajangmen again. Too bland. Lacking a strong sauce.
- Tea is not refillable

REMARKS:
- Addicted to the soup that is served with each plate of chicken rice. SO GOOD. A kind Auntie gave us two bowls of refill.
- The chicken rice itself -- not that impressive. Still prefer our local hainanese chicken rice (more savoury and fragrant)
- Don't quite enjoy the sauces either. Too sour for me.

- What differentiates this from the two Eng's shops, is that they provide a jar of fried garlic that we can help ourselves to. LOVE IT.
- Noodles is the same type as the two Eng's
- Charsiew is torched just before serving, hence the slightly charred edges
- Soup is very flavourful
- Chilli is not very hot. Makes the noodles salty after I added two spoonfuls of chilli in.
- Cucumber lemonade is nice
- Air-conditioned

- Such a good deal we wished there were more of their Signature Souper Combo deal on Burpple Beyond!
- They ran out of the clam chowder soup and the french onion soup. So we got the mushroom and clam chowder. Both were great. Decent portions. "Soup Spoon but cheaper," we thought.
- The modern popiahs exceeded expectations! Loved both the Thai Chicken and Sesame Chicken. Loved them better than subway/KFC/Mcd wraps

REMARKS:
* Portion for the small fried rice is big
* Fried rice isn't fantastic, nothing to shout about
* Prefer their mee goreng but they ran out of mee and horfun
* White beehoon tasted a little bland this time; wasn't as enjoyable as it usually is
* Couldn't help wishing there was fried pork lard to go with the white beehoon
* Sitting outdoors along the parallel parking lots isn't quite ideal though. The smell and noise from cars entering and leaving the lots, yikes.

REMARKS:

* Unsure of what is the wagyu beef grade but still a good experience trying wagyu beef dishes we never had before such as ox tongue, wagyu beef tataki and even wagyu beef tartare
* Service is good; our empty ingredient plates were promptly cleared by the polite Filipino staff
* We stuck to the 90-minute limit and stopped ordering and barbecuing when the time was up. We continued to sit for a while more, drinking and eating ice cream and there was no pressure from the staff for us to leave. Appreciated that.
* It did get a bit gelat towards the end though
* Pork cheek fillet was superrrr fatty and tough to chew
* Enjoyed the wagyu beef short plate and scallops the most

REMARKS:
- Used to be good but not this time
- The vermicelli tasted more like thick bee hoon. Missing the QQ chewiness of korean japchae
- Bland, can hardly taste the sesame oil
- Even the spicy pork missed the mark. It was dry and not well seasoned.
