Sushi is definitely a staple for me whenever I eat Japanese cuisine and just look at this gorgeous plate of sushi!! I’ve died just by looking at them again!

If you’re heading to Noka, a small secret for you! Their delivery is on Tue and Thu, so the freshest seafood arrives on these two dates! We went on a Thursday then, and definitely FRESH!

My sushi recommendation have to be these: Uni sushi, Otoro sushi and Chu toro sushi!

DOG CAFE??!?! YES PLEASEEEEEE!

My sister brought our truffle to Menage Cafe countless times and this is what she highly recommended, and I have to agree that they do taste good!

We ordered salted egg fries and prawn laksa pasta. Their salted egg fries are so good, thickly coated with salted egg, and aromatic in taste, using french fries which are crispy while the salted egg gives it that extra soft texture where your teeth sink in it.

While for the prawn laksa pasta isn’t disappointing at all too! Egg murder (tick) creamy-ness (tick) rich laksa taste (tick) a lot of prawns (tick). Nothing is not good with it.

You get to enjoy while your furkids enjoy having some accompanies! So many cute doggos there and making us wanting to have another dog (dog emoji)

Dining without a break in our bank with @entertainerapp! We have gotten this amazing 1-for-1 deal from the app, and definitely worth it!

It isn’t as exciting as how we thought it was supposed to be, but I do enjoy the pizza while it is hot! So we actually ordered Jamie’s octopus ravioli and posh pepperoni, and they served the wrong item of truffle ravioli, and we ain’t complaining but we did ask for an exchange that we kinda regret 🥲

The Posh Pepperoni uses pork pepperoni and salami for their topping, and the salami became really salty after it was left cold for a while because we were chatting away and neglect the pizza 🙃 But overall, it tastes really well, the pizza is the thick kind but it is baked to perfection still!

While for the ravioli, the jamie’s octopus ravioli has written nothing about it being spicy, and yet, it is a hot one! The seafood taste is really rich and other than it is way too spicy, we do enjoy the overall flavouring and taste.

Saw my feed that @kiyoshi.75 handmade their soba, and can’t wait to try them out! We ordered the snow crab tempura zaru soba which tasted so good, and ate the tempura while it’s just served, because it was sooooo crispy and good, no taste of bad oil at all. While the soba tasted really different from the soba from other places, it doesn’t have that strong green tea taste yet it is good, original and al dente.

We also ordered some of the sides, which is good, I feel their food is in general taste and good but slightly costly. But then again, good food does cost a little more and I don’t mind it at all! Highly recommend to order their angedashi tofu as well!

I think this place offers the BIGGEST ONION RING I’ve seen in my life! It is bigger than the size of the baked potato!

Chanced upon this place, and it has replaced that popeye outlet in Somerset 313, so headed in and tried them out.

First thing first, I have to say, swipe left to see these harmless looking buns that tasted AMAZING! It is on the complimentary when we visit them then, and similar to Aston’s concept, they offer two sides of your choice to match with your mains.

Portion wise is good and their sides taste really good; flavourful. However, personally the sirloin is a miss, while ribeye is alright only. I will go with chicken as my main the next time I visit!

grain alley caught me by surprise of how delicious truffle fries with sour cream can taste like! The fries are fresh, soaking the truffle taste and smell, but what really got me eating one after the other had to be their sauces. We usually can’t even finish half the bowl of fries, as both of us are small eaters but we managed to complete 95% of the fries in @grainalley, and their fries do stay crispy for at least a good 30mins!

Thanks to @burpple ‘s beyond, I managed to grab a 1-for-1 weekend brunch at Sarnies! Fry up and Truffle Scrambled Toast.

8 huge words and make you feel you should go: Super duper worth it, such a big portion. It could actually feed 3-4 pax!

The truffle scrambled toast has a really very strong truffle smell, but the taste isn’t as strong as how it smells (a little disappointing), underneath the ‘blanket’ it was mushroom and spinach. The toast got quite hard after awhile as it was being moistened by the spinach and mushroom.

Lastly, coffee is really smooth and rich, no sight of any bitterness.

Fry up is legit the most worth it breakfast, easily good for two paxs. My favourite is the potato and bacon, while the sausage feels odd when you bite into the middle portion. It felt a little raw and too thick i would say. The vegetables are not too bad, but I don’t feel fancy with them.

Lastly, coffee is really smooth and rich, no sight of any bitterness.

@tiongbahrubakery opens their very new outlet at foothill! The vibe there is 100% on point, and what I definitely love about it is their open kitchen where you can see all the pastries freshly baked there! 

Still, their croissants are my ultimate comfort food, and if I have to choose out of these three, the ham and cheese will never fail my day. Crispy croissant that is stuffed with thick layers of hams and cheese that melts and brings all the flavours together. Together with a cold iced mocha 

Didn’t notice that this outlet has special items, and will be back for their Nutmeg Teh Halia out at their alfresco sitting in the morning.

A date with my babe around his hood, and I heard about @FatCat from someone staying in the North (so it must be damn popular).

I have to say that it is definitely a small ice cream parlor but we're so blessed that we only waited for 10mins,and the queue formed after us 😌

Their ice creams are really rich and flavourful, till date I still miss their Earl Grey Lavender because it is the only ice cream where the lavender tastes so strong and soothing. While babe ordered Black Sesame ice cream where it also tasted really good, like the texture of the Chinese dessert!

While their brown butter Waffles ain't disappointing at all! It is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Totally what I loveee about my waffle!

Everyone who watches Hell’s Kitchen will probably want to know how beef wellington tastes like, that includes me obviously.

Babe knew that I wanted to visit @bskitchen since ages, he made a reservation on my birthday for a taste of hell.

The ambiance of bread street kitchen is on point, with the complimentary birthday cake. Beef Wellington would need a 40mins waiting time, and they do serve some bread for appetizer so snack away, but don’t eat too much as you might be way.too.full for the main course.

My first impression of beef wellington is that it is a little dry (without the sauce), and the pastry is delicious. The red wine jus is necessary to make the whole beef wellington to taste good, as both the beef and pastry will soak up the red wine jus and give a refreshing taste.

Other than the waiting time being rather long, I still highly recommend it! While my babe had roasted black cod which is also really soft and fresh! Pair them with their sweet wine,2018 Moscato d’Asti, Sori dei Fiori, Piedmont, Italy, making the whole birthday celebration sweeter.

If you’re in MBS and wanted to have some teatime, TWG has the best vibes for some chit-chat space and some hi-tea of course!

No doubt they have the best macaroons, and we tried their tea time set menu - 1837. For their tea time set menu, it isn’t allowed to share, so if you’re dining in with another person who isn’t ordering the tea time set, they need to order their own tea as well. Their muffins and scones are alright for a tea time, definitely loving their tea.

Also TWG tea menu..is.so.extended. So I have some issues in ordering what tea I want to get since it is a book of tea, and when I asked the staff, he showed me the tea dictionary. HEOL. And I have settled with white tea, basic like that.
