A new halal restaurant that is located across the street from Rochor beancurd. Didn't get a chance to take a photo of the BOMB chilli crab pasta (one of the spiciest I've had) but this Seabass was pretty good too! Love how fresh and juicy the fish was! 👍🏻 Will defo be back to try their Asian dishes like Nasi Goreng Ayam Berlada and Tom Yum Fried Rice!!! 😋

Okay, Burpple Tastemaker Nobelle Liew wasn't kidding when she said this was an UH-MAZING burger!! Slathered with sambal mayo (not too spicy thankfully), this is the kind of drippy burger that you HAVE to get in all the action with your hands! 🤗 Bonus points for how juicy and steaming hot the patty was even though I took so long to take the picture 😅👍🏻 Oh and please do yourself a favour by adding on the fried egg!

Wouldn't have expected such a dish at a restaurant where they are famous for their soups. But omg this is so good! It's similar to Kong Ba Bao in terms of ingredients (bun, meat and veg), but I wouldn't recommend eating this the same way you eat Kong Ba Bao simply because the buns are a little too small to hold the meat and there's just too much meat! Love how the wobbly chunks of pork belly are so well marinated and they practically melt in your mouth 😋😋😋 Must order when I'm at Souper Tang!

New Japanese restaurant next to Cold Stone Creamery at Orchard Central. Been craving for Japanese food for a while now and I'm glad this satisfied my belly! Ordered the Kaisen Chirashi Set that comes with appetizer, salad, Asari clams (!!) miso soup and the BEST Yuzu ice cream 😋 While most of the other bowls had regular white rice, my Chirashi bowl came with pink sushi rice, supposedly mixed with a special Japanese condiment. Love how fresh the sashimi slices were and the torched + glazed slices were so tasty! Great value for money 👍🏻😊

Wow this is good!!! Strong wok hei going on and the cabbage leaves that they use were exceptionally sweet! Couldn't stop eating this! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Couldn't leave the izakaya without having some carbs in my system! 😂 Ordered the large Garlic Fried Rice ($13) to share and I had no regrets about it! I'm guessing the ratio of rice to garlic is almost equal because there were SO MANY fried garlicky bits between the grains! Super yum for a garlic lover like me!

Never knew these cabbage dishes could be so addictive! It's a fail-proof yummy dish that is slowly becoming my must-order at every izakaya. I LOVE how much wok hei they have and the pork slices here are so tender (no chewy tendons)! Goes super well with rice too!

Had the Asparagus Maki and the Chicken Wing skewers at Izakaya Shinjuku to start our meal! Didn't expect much from the chicken wings but it turned out to be so flavourful, unlike the ones you have at BBQ! Not a charred bit on the skin and the meat stayed moist even though it was thoroughly cooked to the bone! 👍🏻

Came to Keria for their other side dishes (read: Mentaiko Cabbage) but this caught my eye! Love how this set meal came with a generous portion of smoked beef (rice to beef ratio is 1:3), super fresh melt-in-your-mouth sashimi, miso soup and a wafer! There are other sets as well (including a Chirashi don!) — definitely a must try! 👍🏻

Shared this Breakfast Strawberry Maple Pancake with @krezhong and it was still too much for us to finish. If you're not a tomato-based pasta lover like me, there's a Carbonara version too 👍🏻 Pasta portions are huge so best to share with a friend before ordering the Pancake Tower ($21.99) for dessert — five layers of pancakes covered with caramel, chocolate and custard sauce!
