One of my favourite places to get mamak style fried rice and noodles. Too bad they don't serve pratas, or else I'll be there all day everyday.
Simple, tasty and filling. It doesn't have a sambal base like wantan mee, so it's a good option if you're avoiding spicy food.
And a coke with lemon makes any meal complete.
This plain + egg prata, curry and teh tarik are all giving my tummy a big group hug from the inside. ❤️
This one is also tasty, but the beef slices were too big and tough to chew. The thick udon noodles also makes you feel full way too fast.
Both dishes are soy sauce based, so they're not spicy and definitely kid friendly. You can ask for chilli flakes which they will put at the top corner of your box, and you can mix in however much you want. The chilli flakes is not the typical one that comes with your pizza delivery. It's got a nice deep red colour, and goes really well with the fried noodles.
I poured out the contents on a plate so that my family members could all have a taste. They gave a unanimous thumbs up for this dish. To be honest I couldn't taste any wok hei, but the flavours were good and ingredients not overdone.
Here you can see that the portion is quite large. I don't think I can finish this on my own. But it's delicious so maybe can. 😋
Finally got the chance to try this takeaway rice and noodle kiosk when I saw there's no queue.
A simple menu of japanese rice, ramen or udon fried with egg and cabbage. You can choose to add on a protein (beef, chicken or prawns) and other top-ups such as broccoli, shimeji mushroom, tobiko, chinese chicken sausage and even a sous-vide egg.
Your order will be cooked on the spot using a large wok, zi-char style, and packed in a nice takeaway box with a hefty pair of chopsticks. You can view the menu and prices at their instagram account @wokheysg.

Because they use long grain basmati rice, it's not too heavy but still very flavourful.
