Dessert of the day that came with the lunch set when you add on $3.50. The egg pudding is rich and eggy, I love it. As for the black sesame panna cotta, it tasted sourish (spoilt taste) and I had to request for a change.

Weekdays lunch sets are quite affordable, with the option to add on $3.50 for salad, iced lemon tea, and dessert of the day. Appearance-wise, this is considered a failed omelet with so many holes. (Everyone else who came after me, got a beautiful omelet though.🤷🏻‍♂️) Taste-wise, not bad, the omelet is still creamy. The butter rice is quite tasty too. As for the chicken, it was too powdery, I didn’t like it.

This cocktail made up of dry gin, yu zu, green shiso was sweet and very refreshing. Kirin Beer was perfect to clean the palate of all the dishes we just had.

This was the best dish I had that night. The pan seared beef cuts were tender, juicy and smoky. A little salty but just nice with rice. We managed to finish the huge mountain of rice from the Mount Chirashi thanks to this dish.

Finally got to try the “Second-Gen” Mount Chirashi after all the hype. Pretty fresh sashimi but the sushi rice was disappointing. It was clumpy, sticky, and dry. The worst sushi rice I’ve ever had. Will I be back? Yes to try other dishes, but definitely won't be ordering the huge mountain of rice again.🍚

I miss the coconut ice cream at Chatuchak Market. This is the closest I can get to satisfy my craving. I have no idea why they served me the ice cream in a plastic cup instead of the coconut shell. As the spoon is very short, I have difficulty eating the ice cream at the bottom half of the cup. I had to wait for the ice cream to melt and drink it instead. A very messy experience.🤦🏻‍♂️ As for the taste wise, it’s a bit too sweet for my liking.

Cheap thrills! It's only $0.50! Pay at the counter to get a token to use it at the ice cream machine, it's kind of fun to watch the ice cream dispense from the machine.😄 However, don’t expect it to have any strong soybean taste, you would be disappointed.

If you're a sweet potato lover like me, you will like this. I like that it’s not too sweet and there are sweet potato bits inside.

These takoyaki balls are so yummy! Bigger and definitely tastier than the usual takoyaki balls you can find outside. Topped with a generous amount of bonito flakes, sauce, and mayonnaise. So good!

This place is a gem. The western food stall is always having a long queue. Where else can you get such a huge chicken chop at this price in town? You can customize your set with different sides.

It’s not my first time having seafood white beehoon, but having it in bak kut teh broth, this is the first. Surprisingly, the white beehoon and the broth actually go well together. It creates enough oomph for me to come back for more.
