Ordered this appetiser and a drink as a set with my ramen for an additional $3.20. Not much flavour to be honest but it is refreshing and crunchy especially when you need sth to cut the richness of the noodles

Want to try their shrimp broth but afraid that it might be too rich? Get this shrimp soup on the side instead! I’m glad I did that and got the Red Garoupa Tonkotsu Ramen as my main instead as I am not usually a huge fan of very rich broths but how can you come to Le Shrimp without trying their famous shrimp broth?

This soup screams prawns so those who love thick prawny broths, this is definitely for you. Don’t get me wrong though. This is a good bowl of prawn soup but it is too overwhelming for me if I had to finish a whole bowl of ramen in such thick broths.

Overall, if you like thick and rich broths, get their shrimp ramen soup. If not, get their dry noodles or the lighter tonkotsu broth ramen instead

To be honest, I preferred this tonkotsu soup base more than their shrimp soup as the latter was too rich for my liking. Fresh and huge fish chunks in a flavourful tonkotsu broth. Choice of noodles includes Chinese la mian, vermicelli and rice noodles. I chose to go with ramen noodles because I prefer some bite to my noodles as opposed to the other options which tend to be softer in texture. Pretty good quality bowl of ramen in my opinion. For those who prefer lighter broths, do give this a try!

Tasted okay but it can get a bit jelak nearing the end. It is not a bad bowl of noodles but just not something to wow about in my opinion

Really sweet red bean topping but it balances really well with the milk snowflake shaved ice on the bottom. Flavour is not bad but after including of gst and service charge, the total comes to $24.60 which is pretty steep for a bowl bingsu in my opinion

This dish is lighter on the palette and healthy tasting. Not too bad but it is on the expensive side in my opinion

Crispy skin with a hint of garlic fragrance but the texture of the chicken was a bit dry for me.

Simplicity at its best. A classic dish to order at Putien. Requested for peanuts to be removed due to dietary requirements of a family member. Affected a bit on the texture but the flavour is still good regardless. Always preferred this dish over their Lor Mee.

Took very long to arrive to the table but at least it was served hot and crispy, drizzled with a tangy and sweet gravy. The fish head and tail were also fried really well that you can munch on the fins and tail like a cracker which I love doing. For those who dislike fish bones, this fish is deboned before frying so it’s really easy to eat too! Fish was of a pretty big size and really meaty too. Definitely my favourite dish of the day. FYI I ate 3/4 of the fish on my own. Love it love it love it

A sweet and savoury combo. Not usually one who orders salted desserts but decided to switch things up a bit today and I’m proud to say that it was a good decision indeed! The salty touch adds a nice twist to the usual sickly sweet dessert. There were chocolate balls and almond nuts that adds a crunch to the dessert but what I liked the most were the cocoa pops, that remains crunchy despite soaking in the melted icecream for quite some time. Surprisingly delicious!

Pretty big and thick fish fillet (much larger than I expected tbh) that was really moist and well-seasoned, topped with a small dollop of butter. Served with a special sambal chili on the side but I felt that the fish itself was already very delicious on its own due to the dry sambal seasoning on the fish. The buttery fragrance added as the butter melts on the fish was the icing to the cake.

Side dishes were disappointing though. Chose mashed potatoes and vegetable-of-the-day as my sides but the corn was mushy and I was not a fan of the grainy texture and taste of the mashed potatoes.

Average tasting. Not too bad but nothing to wow about.
