Rosé Pasta ($20.80) Linguine with prawns in tomato cream sauce. The pasta was al dente and seems to be thinner than normal. The prawns were fresh. The sauce wasnt too sour or creamy. I would recommend this and prices are nett here!

Pictured above are the hojicha and matcha lattes at approx $8 each at regular price. However, it’s worth considering if you are looking for a place to hang out as it is really peaceful.

Ok, with 1-for-1 Ordered 1-for-1 brunch, Big Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Big Breakfast: expected it to be better for the price, the toast was kinda hard to cut, bacon was slightly over fried and hard, the egg mushrooms and sausage were okay Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict: this was good, but sadly they ran out of brioche bread and I had to top up $3 for croissant

Hot Chocolate [$6] Wanted to get a cup of hot drink after our dinner and found ourselves at Flagwhite! My friend went with the matcha latte that uses powder from Matchaya, while I got myself a hot chocolate that uses chocolates from Fossa. They have it in 70% and 80% chocolate, and I ordered the latter on recommendation by the staff. Enjoyed the fragrant bittersweet notes!

Honey Mustard Pork Ribs Was expecting soft tender ribs but turns out the ribs were tough. The honey mustard sauce was good but wasn’t enough to save this dish. The other dishes we ordered were good. Will be giving this dish a miss then next time when we are there.

Pork Rib’s Lamien I was walking around looking for what lunch to grab and saw this noodle stall at the end row of the food centre on second level with a queue. 三好骨汤面 (San Hao Gu Tang Mian) is a Chinese noodle stall with a few options to choose from. I went for their pork rib’s noodle that you can choose either go with the original soup or mala soup. The original soup is very tasty and sweet. Comes with generous pork ribs pieces on it.

Really Spicy Order this Aromatic Chicken ($6.50) from this stall called Spicy Wife and understand why is it call that now. The sambal is really spicy and the chicken is like Malay style with lots of herbs. Overall, is good but $6.50 is bit too much to handle on a daily basis

Generous Meat Ordered the beef noodle soup ($6.50) from Pho Hanoi and I like the generosity of beef & soup. Really worth it. Will not mind to try more

One for one dessert Around $20 for two desserts which can feed quite a lot of people. The desserts weren’t special but I guess worth coming by for the coffee and vibes of the place. A good place to chill if you had dinner nearby!

Iced Chai Latte $5.90++ for this large cup of chai latte. However it was too milky and a bit too sweet in my opinion. More chai pls :) Came on a weekday afternoon. This is a nice place to chill in the afternoon with a book or to have a nice long conversation with a friend.

Flavour is amazing! Tried the Mermaid risotto and did not disappoint. The cream sauce isn’t too jelat and is very flavourful with the seafood ingredients.

Always meeting expectations! Ordered Mindy’s Chicken again after a long while and the standard is still great! Chicken chunks are tender and not dry, flavour is pleasant with slight tom yum flavour from the leaves.

Third Visit and Counting Every single dish at The Garden Slugs is just mouthwatering. We come back every time to try new dishes. We tried their Chargrilled Chicken Breast and Herb Roasted Fish today. Both took our breath away!

It is easy to bite, and it doesn’t feel dry the more you chew either! I also love that the vegetables served on the side are quite unique. It is crispy and tastes a little like seaweed, but it is slightly too salty. I ordered this dish on two different days and they changed up the sides, which adds a little variety for regular customers like me😍 💰: $36 📈: 8/10
