No matter what you say, the onions are obviously not caramelised. The colour is wrong and sour is not sweet. π£
Makes the donuts look so good :) Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
π Always great to be around good company π
ππΌ This is my current favourite bubble tea, Tea Plus' Cranberry High Mountain Tea. Super addicted to it π Having it every other day!
It has opened here for a couple of months but have been in operation for two years. Currently they are having a Christmas special π, 1/4 chicken π with two sides and a drink for only $9.90! Pretty delicious, but I must say I'm not really liking their unsparing use of plastic utensils.
Among the four of us, we tried three types of ramen: Kanshoku ($13.90), Black Garlic ($14.90) and Shoyu ($13.90). The original was the nicest. The Black Garlic had only the fragrance but lacking in taste (needed more garlic) and Shoyu tasted kind of peanut-y (not sure why). I also really liked the Yuzu Lemon Tart π ($6.20) we had for dessert. It was a good balance of sweet and sour.
The great thing is if one is not enough for you, you can buy as many bottles πΎ as you want and take them home with you! By the way, they are having a Peppermint version, which is great for the holiday season. π
The Ondeh Ondeh cake we had was also pretty damn good!
My Sunday breakfast courtesy of @essensosg and @antoinette_sg! Although I don't really fancy coffee, Essenso MicroGround Coffee βοΈ was actually very aromatic! It's a blend of finely ground Arabica coffee beans and soluble instant coffee. Also, it's paired with pastries and sweets π¬ specially curated by Chef Pang of Antoinette for both the 2 in 1 and 3 in 1 coffees.
We talked to owner Fiona, and she was telling us about how important it is to keep the cost down because not everyone can afford to have $40-50 brunch all the time. Also, to do that, they make most of their stuff themselves, which also allows them to keep things healthier.
Sadly, it's resting today :( love my sister's shirt by the way! Haha
