Never-ending love for Korean food after K-drama. Normally Korean eateries are clustered around Tajong Pagar or Telok Ayer but this time round, somewhere for the east people who does not need to waste time on travelling 😂 pretty decent one but remember to place a reservation as there's limited spaces! Since they have long table, it would be a pretty good location for group gathering after work/school.

Tried the curry crabs (slightly sweet and spicy with lots of eggs) , spicy grilled pork (very flavourful on its own and also goes well with accompanying tangy chili sauce) and grouper steamboat in hot and spicy clear soup (fish is very fresh and tasty, soup is nice but a tad on the spicy side). All excellent choices and definitely worth a visit again!

Wanton noodles which don't look like much but packs a punch in terms of flavours. No sauce but small pieces of lard and chai po makes this version unique! Portions are small - which may not be a bad thing as it leaves room for the excellent pig trotter rice (tender and very balanced) and pig intestines (tender tender tender!)

Tucked away in a cosy corner of the OId Badminton Hall, Brawn & Brains makes you feel right at home once you step in, complete with friendly smiles and warm greetings. With a delightfully unpretentious vibe, you can either enjoy a quick and delicious lunch bite, or stick around with a book and enjoy a great latte and homemade Earl Grey pound cake.
