With brownie base.
Great and thick flavour from rum and those raisins has the bite to it. Brownie was normal to my preference.
Special Salmon Don - Generous serving of mayo drizzled over salmon cubes then torched added an extra oomph to the dish! Dish was pleasantly creamy intitally but gets overwhelming towards the end.
Unagi Don - Portion was small but tastes decent.
Such a long name and the star of this dish is hidden right below the onsen tamago egg. Egg was great as usual, the foie gras is the highlight although if given at a thicker piece would be wonderful.
Albeit the beef was delectable, I felt its lacking some oomph & char-feel to each bite.
Rice is normal, overall kept me full and satisfying. 3.75/5

The Plus: Pistachio Cone again! Full flavoured ice-cream, well-balanced, smooth and huge @ only $6. (Cost $5.50 for cup)
The Minus: Sadly its only flavoured without the bits of nutty bits that I liked/preferred!
They have interesting flavours though and with burpple beyond (with exception to special day like vDay), you get to try more flavour!! Sweet~

Banana Crumble - You can taste the full banana flavour flourished in your mouth along with the crumble bites. Along with Roasted Pistachios, I'd find these 2 combination perfect as you get plenty of bites besides the creamy texture under the torrid weather. Downside for me, personally I find pistachios ice cream came out slightly bit sweetier for me but nevertheless, its still a worthy mentioned to choose.

Thick-chunk, slice to order sashimi. Definitely worth the value. Much prefer the yellow tail / swordfish / salmon sashimi.
Tip: Go early. Best at 11.30am when they just started operation. Efficient service. You can also booked with chope to get chope points while burpple 1-1 for additional deal!
Authentic thai food that will not go wrong. Feel the great marriage between the whole seabass with the thai lime sauce/soup/gravy (whichever way you call it). Order the fried seabass if you prefer non-steam instead
Moist, flavourful, delectable tang hoon. Had that char flavour at the bottom. Stir the tang hoon with the tangy dark sauce at the bottom and the umami flavour just blossom in your mouth.
Downside - too little seafood seen. Next table had tang hoon with prawn instead and the fragrance is much more than mine though.
Go for the tang hoon, you won't regret.
Has high nutritional value plus the fact that its high in protein yet low in fat content, isn't it what the current trend is all about now?
Compare this to the cordycep chicken, this feels much more herbal-licious. Don't be afraid of black (ι»ζδ»δΉε₯½ζη!), what matters most is the texture, taste, flavour & easy fall off the bone meat. You won't regret.
If you prefer more herbal per mouthful soup, get the awesome black.
If you prefer less herbal (more sweet) soup, get the distinctive white chicken.
*Bare in mind that white chicken gets sold out earlier even though they open till late. I was there at 5.30pm on a Saturday and got the last pot of white chicken soup.
Thick (Very Gao), herbal essence, warm the soul, chicken soup. Tender chicken by its own, dip into the chili and BOOM! A whole new difference in chicken flavour as the chili packs hint of sour yet not overpowering.
Dig deeper and there is the big piece of cordycep with every other ingredients that I do not really know can be found inside.
Totally worth my trip from west to east!
Order this only to try out as my mouth is itchy for a bite but not my partner. Overall, tasted simple but has that element of surprise when you ate that char portion on top of the egg that mysteriously met with my tongue. Lucky for that char-ness otherwise it would have just been a normal toast with avocado + egg. 7/10
