Breaded fried golden calamari rings w a mysterious black sauce. A classic favorite done well. Crunchy & springy! A great sharing side to split among friends. The mysterious black sauce tho, even aft I had this a couple of times, I still can't figure out if I like or hate the sauce. I would definitely prefer just a simple Lemon & mayo or some sweet Chilli. The sauce doesn't really do anything for me. I just dip it... cause it's there. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The calamari rings are pretty flavorful on their own as it is.

This pizza totally exceeded my expectations! If you're looking for meaty, hearty meal, go for this! It contains pork jowl (YASSS), back bacon, mozzarella, onion and BBQ sauce. I really liked how this pizza is so complete. It has meat ✔️, cheese ✔️, greens ✔️, zesty sauce ✔️& a real damn good crust ✔️! Done.

This got to be my fav cafe in town! Not only do they serve up great coffee, their bakes are great too. Their ice latte ratio is perfect without being too milky. And their Lemon & chia seed cake is amazing. Love the zesty bright flavors from the lemon sponge, paired w the popping texture of the chia seed. I won't ever queue for Starbucks when I know there's Plain Vanilla just 2 levels above! 🖤

Yumssss 👅 the chicken heart was really tasty, crunchy & well-seasoned! The thigh on the other hand, was abit under seasoned but nice & juicy.

Steamed egg with kuruma ebi 🦐 & sauce Américaine. Soft egg custard with umami flavors. For $12, this comes at a real high price. Chawanmushi fills only 1/4 of the bowl, so shallow there's isn't much depth for the spoon to dig in. I wouldn't recommend getting this even as a side, unless they decide to fill more egg.

Rice bowl of the week was the Oyakodon (Chicken & Egg bowl) 🐣 The lunch set comes w appetizer (tofu & fish), soup (fish soup), chawanmushi (steamed egg), pickles & dessert (froyo). Quite a steep price for oyakodon in my opinion and a fairly small serving as well. The chicken to rice ratio wasn't balanced, leaving me with more rice to chicken. The caramelized onions in the bowl was a nice sweet touch. Chawanmushi that came in the set was far too shallow. With only 1/4 of it filled, scooping was difficult as the spoon hits the base.
