Finally get to try this popular ramen joint from Japan. Really love the gyoza, super juicy and flavourful with great sauce, complements the ramen really well too. Prefer the Shio ramen to the tsukemen as we cant really taste the yuzu in the tsukemen but texture of ramen was how we liked it. Whereas for the broth of the shio ramen, the yuzu smell was very fragrant and not too strong. It was very refreshing even till the last mouth. Overall it was a pleasant experience as staffs were friendly and quality of food was up to standard as to price.

Lol portion is big for 2 person, think it’s good for 4 pax, ordered a total of 40 skewers with the deal and had to take away 5-6 at the end cause we couldn't finish. Crowded on a Friday evening, all staffs were friendly. For the skewers, they were quite flavourful but some were a bit too dry, like the pork and oyster mushrooms. Kirin Pineapple beer went well with the skewers but the alcohol made me quite full after a while. Overall quite a good place to chill with friends after some drinks and snacks.

Yogurt with Purple Rice $5.60

Name sounds healthy so decided to give it a try. Find the yogurt is a bit too sour paired with the purple rice. There were abundant of purple rice, was very filling such that I left about 1/4 of the drink till the end. Did get a little sickening towards the end. However, the more you chew the purple rice was really fragrant and tasty. Worth trying if you would like a healthier substitute of BBT.

Crowded on a Sat noon, waited awhile outside to get a seat inside. The all-in breakfast was surprisingly filling even though there's little crabs, but all the ingredients were fresh and yummy. No complaints on that. The ice lemonade was refreshing, the sweetness and sourness was well balanced. For the chai latte, it was heavier on the spice side, perfect on a rainy day and went well with the breakfast platter. Quiet a nice place to chill on a weekend.

Restaurant was almost full on a Friday evening and staffs were very friendly. This was my first time trying the dry bak kut teh, it was heavy on the sauce and taste, quite like it and it went well with the rice. For the bak kut teh wise, I still prefer the peppery one, and I find the herbal taste was on the milder side and was not strong enough. However, its still quite a good deal on Beyond as price was very reasonable and we get to try something different.

A very pretty little joint decorated with pastel pink and rose gold theme. Even their bowls and plates were pastel pink. Staff was very friendly even when we were using the Beyond deals. For food wise, the all in breakfast tasted exactly how it looks, we think its pricey even with Beyond for what was served. The rest of the 2 rice bowls was of no surprises too. Probably wont be back cause
of the price and the quantity and quality of food.

Went at around 2PM on a sat afternoon, there was a few tables occupied. Staffs were friendly and attentive and offered to help us peel prawns.
Ingredients were fresh and have to say their Mala soup base is the most authentic one I had ever tried in Singapore. The kind which numb both your mouth and stomach kind. Food was just a portion we ordered as we bought vouchers from Chope. Overall, quite a pleasant experience, with good soup base, ingredients of quality and good ambience.

Chose to take away and eat at home, fries became slightly soggy after 20 to 30 mins. Staffs were friendly and fries were fried on the spot,I supposed, cause they came out of a machine before staffs mixed them with the powder of different flavours. Fries were well mixed with the powder, preferred the sour cream flavour more than the BBQ one cause it tasted less artificial and quite addictive. Might not return as we find the price on the higher side without Beyond for the portion served.

Crowded on Sunday around noon. Cafe has a modern and cool vibe, though its a bit noisy if you sit inside, there were a few times I couldn't hear what my friend was saying when she was just seated opposite and the table wasn't very big. Food wise, portions were big and quality worth their prices. I like the pasta of the Prawn Aglio Olio, the flavours was immersed into the pasta, prawns were fresh, though the garlic could be more prominent. Overall, quite a nice place to chill but I still prefer somewhere quieter for some catch up sessions.

Pork Belly Twosome Noodle $10

A cozy little joint with limited seating, went on a saturday afternoon and most tables were occupied. The Twosome Noodle are premium version of wanton mee where you got pork belly char siu and roasted crispy pork belly instead of the normal char siu pieces. Really like the texture and the tangy-ness of the noodles,the scallions added on to the fragrant. I would say there weren't any surprises with the pork belly char siu and roasted crispy pork belly, they are well done and exactly how I expected them to taste like. Soup was free flow on a thermal flask on the table. Staffs were friendly, but probably wont come back as the food is pricey without Beyond deals.

My go-to place place for cheap and good tonkatsu set.Quality and taste can totally compete with bigger brands restaurant that also
serve tonkatsu. Love the bunch of salad and the sauce,makes eating the tonkatsu less sinful cause of the large amount of veggies that comes with it, lol. Best is there is no GST and service charge.

Hazelnut taste in latte seems very artificial, didn't finish drink at the end. Caramel Macchiato tasted normal. Like that water was provided for self- service. Overall a good place to chill and rest in town area with good 1-1 deal in Beyond.
