Egg Fried Rice with Pork Cutlet $6.50

Waited for around 30 mins for my food during weekday lunch period and there wasn’t even a large crowd. Nonetheless, quality of fried rice was so good, fragrant and not too oily. Well balance amount of egg and green onions. Pork cutlet was juicy and flavourful despite looking a bit dry. Also, love their chilli which gave the finishing kick to the fried rice. Can’t help but say this is so good even it was such a long wait. Will be back for this, maybe when I have more free time on my hands.

Staffs were friendly. Food quality wise, pancakes were fluffy but other sides e.g. scrambled eggs and sausages were not really to my liking. But guess the highlight is the pancakes so no complaints. And Beyond makes it quite worth for the amount and quality of food. Just a pity that the deal doesn’t apply to the dessert pancakes. Might not return as I think there are other better alternatives.

Still on the brown sugar bubble milk band wagon so got to try this when I was in town. From queuing to getting my drink I waited for about 10-15 mins on a weekend, think it’s quite reasonable since it’s famous. The brown sugar did not disappoint, texture was smooth and pearls were chewy the way I like them. Though the brown sugar taste wasn’t that prominent. The other drink was lightly roasted oolong. Oolong taste was aromatic and drink was smooth no complaint. Not my favourite brown sugar milk but worth trying!

1-1 Mains & Drinks

Great brunch place to hang out with friends. Staffs were friendly, ambience was chill and cozy , food was good. What more can I asked for? We paid around $15 each for a main and drink. The portion was quite big as a few of us didn’t finish our food. Overall, a steal from Beyond. Location might be quite inaccessible if you don’t drive, but this won’t stop me from going back again!

A cute little cafe for high quality tea. Both drinks were refreshing. We like the hojicha more as it had a smoother taste. Sugar level was just nice too. Beyond made it much more affordable, don’t think I would pay the full price for the drink as there are many alternatives with cheaper and similar quality.

Favourite tako in town, comes with a good range of variety and unique flavours. Softness of the tako was just nice with fresh ingredients and classic sauce. This is the place to go when you wanna try fusion takos. Beyond makes it a really good deal.

Staffs were very friendly in recommending their signatures and new flavours. Very pretty shop and products in the display fridge. Just how the eclairs looked themselves will put you in a good mood already. However, taste wise the texture it’s a bit hard for me, nothing else to complain. It’s better to get more people to share as they tends to get a bit sickening at the end. Recommend to consume with tea or coffee. Will make a good afternoon tea break.

Soup base: collagen, mala and tomato

All 3 soup base were good especially the mala, not too salty and spicy. Ingredients were all fresh with a range of cooked sides (e.g. fried manton, fries and spring rolls) served. Drinks were good especially their ice Thai milk tea. Overall it’s a good buffet deal although it’s on the pricey side. However, I think it’s a good hang out spot for groups as restaurant was spacious and with more ppl, more food can be ordered and shared among themselves.

Flavours : HoneyQ & Garlic Parm

Take away option available. HoneyQ was bbq flavoured wings with honey, can’t go wrong. Whereas Garlic Parm tasted abit exotic and we were not used to this flavour. Overall quite a good deal with the portion and the flavours of wings available. Staffs were friendly too!

Back to my favourite hang out spot in KAP. As always staff was friendly and their macaroons were so good. The salted egg was quite a unique flavour to try. Just like last time, we had a pleasant time chilling our weekend afternoon away in this cozy little cafe. Will be back even without Beyond.

Body Boost Large $12

Cozy little hang out place in Telok Ayer area. Drinks were refreshing and best for days with scorching weather. It was of regret that the one for one have to be the same drink, when they have an extensive menu for their shakes. I feel that even after Beyond discounts the drinks are still quite pricey, all for something that’s healthy. But the bottle and the paper straws were cute though.

Waffle with honey truffle oil and soft serve

Hands down the cutest cafe to me in Singapore, love Antonio, their adorable mascot and the chic interior design. Not to forget their famous tiramisu! It was so creamy and aromatic, with the right balance of coffee and sweetness. As for their waffle, it was a very unique combination of truffle oil and dessert, not a truffle fan but it was acceptable. But probably won’t order it again. We ordered the spam fries too, however we find it over fried which tasted dry and oily. But who cares, at least we got to have a photo with Sir Antonio.
