A must try when you head to Habitat!

Poofy cloud soufflƩ pancakes served with vanilla Chantilly cream, maple syrup and fresh berries.

The pancakes are soft and fluffy as the name poofy cloud suggests. Eat it while it’s hot to enjoy the fluffy pancakes.

Tried 1 of each of the burpple set. Comes with a drink and dessert as stated in the menu.

Thai basil is the usual fanfare but the stir fry garlic and shrimp set is so fragrant! Definitely get at least one of that if you are coming for it.

The staff are Thai so it makes you feel like you are in Thailand!

Newly opened mala store in Wan Hao Food Court

Paid 16.30 for a decent sized bowl of mala xiang guo with a bowl of rice.

Picked the lowest level of spice and felt it would be suitable for those who are just starting to try spicy food/mala food. You can definitely picked the higher level if you are used to spicy food.

Ingredients are fresh and the wait during lunch time is bearable compared to other mala stores.

Expect to queue when you come because it is that good.

Paid about 14+ for all the dishes in the picture. Their rice and chicken wings are a must have if you are trying it for the first time. Forget about your diet because every side dish just looks so delish when you are ordering.

Boat noodles: 7.50
Pork crackling: 3.80
Thai milk tea: 2.80

Greeted by familiar staff the moment you enter and you are welcomed by Thai radio and music.

Boat noodles were flavourful but slightly different from the ones in Bangkok (famous Victory Monument boat noodles). Pork cracklings were a tad hard even after soaking them in the soup base. Thai milk tea was definitely worth the $$$.

SGD15.40 for a regular aƧaƭ bowl and smoothie

AƧaĆ bowl size is smaller than other stores that I’ve been to (eg AƧaĆ affair). Would definitely go back for the aƧaĆ bowl but not the smoothie. Picked a mango smoothie but couldn’t taste the mango or the other fruits (other than aƧaĆ).

Authentic Indonesian food at affordable prices (about 40+ for 4 dishes + 3 rice) and the chilli was super tasty!

However, food was already cold by the time we ordered at 6pm as they stop cooking new batches of dishes for selection.

Order 3 cakes - Odeh odeh, putu piring and chocolate ovamaltine and they gave us durian flavor for free. Each piece ranged from 9.50 to 10.50

If you like the taste of gula melaka, you will love their cakes. The sponge cakes are lightweight to contrast the sweetness of the gula Melaka.

If you are coming here to celebrate a birthday, let the staff know in advance so they can turn off the lights, get some candles and sing a birthday song for you/your guest!

SGD 4 for middle sized plate

Not able to customize removal of beansprout as they fry in batches. Egg was crispy enough at the edges to contrast with the flavours of the noodle broth.

SGD 8.90 onwards

Picked 6 greens and no carbs with no meat. Generous serving of sauce so if you are not a big of fan of too much dressing, do remember to indicate. Possible to do take away or dine in but it’s usually crowded during lunch time.

SGD 8.50

Rather generous serving of durian cream together with the durian flavoured snow ice. Came here on a public holiday eve so we had to sit outside on the makeshift tables and chairs. Quite a decent selection of snow ice, shaved ice and other kinds of hot dessert.

50cent per piece

I’ve been eating from this stall for more than 15 years and the standard has been the same all these years. The radish is nicely salty and chopped into fine pieces, the rice cake is soft and melts in your mouth.

The other outlets they have (eg clementi) tastes just as good but my favourite is still this outlet.
