Service lacking graciousness very confusing Burpple Beyond rules for this establishment, so we clarified w the waitress, who told us that the tacos were 2 for 1, that the pair of more expensive tacos would be charged. But when we made payment, it turned out that we were informed wrongly. Yet, the cashier on duty did not give us the 1-for-1 as the waitress had initially told us. Extremely disappointed with their lack of graciousness in recognizing their own error

Great food you can get in the wee hours [BISHAN, SINGAPORE] A halal cafe that opens till the wee hours, @goodbitessg is a place you can consider for your family or friends gatherings. With a relatively large menu, we tried a couple of dishes and these are what we liked: Baked Salmon 🐟($19.90) - for the salmon lovers, this is a good order! The salmon itself was soft, fatty and yet not overcooked. The mashed potato was smooth and well seasoned, but can get abit salty towards the end. Seafood Salted Egg Pasta 🍝 ($16.50) - the salted egg flavour may not be very strong, but it isn't too surfeiting as well. Pasta was al dente, seafood was relatively fresh! Seafood Chilli Crab Pasta 🍝 ($16.50) - for the spicy lovers, this is for you. We asked them to lower the spice but it's still very fiery 🔥 the sweet chilli sauce is addictive, but I had to take big gulps of water 😸 Molten Lava Chocolate Cake 🍫 ($12.90) - to cool off the spice, this will be your go-to. The chocolate lava cake was indeed very molten, and pairs well with the vanilla ice cream given! Premium Iced Tea🍹($9.90) - these were very decent, with good aromatic flavour without being too sweet. Great halal cafe food! Had a wonderful time trying out some of the new and popular dishes at Good Bites @goodbitessg and really liked many of them 😍 Here are my favourites: Prawn Pesto Pasta - if you love your pesto, this rendition is a good one. The taste of basil is strong yet not overpowering, and it was greatly enhanced by the umami coming from the sauteed garlic and onions. Pasta was al dente, prawns were plump and snappy. I thoroughly enjoyed this! Beef Lasagna - been some time since I've had lasagna, and this reminded me how much I've missed it. It was very cheesy, stuffed full of minced meat and the pasta was also still rather al dente! The tomato sauce had the right balance between sweet and savoury too. However it can get quite rich, so best to share. Strawberry Osmanthus Earl Grey Tea - this is one good refreshing choice. All flavours within the tea complemented each other well, and loved the whipped cream on top! This is no canned whipped cream; I could tell that it's made in house using fresh cream and it's a good contrast to the refreshing tea below. With quite a few tables, this is one place to gather with your friends for meals! It's halal certified too 😍 Thank you @eatwithkeat for inviting and @goodbitessg for the food! 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁 ($𝟭𝟴.𝟵𝟬) Honestly, this had everything we would want in a party. With spicy mid-wings, calamari, and sweet potato fries, this is perfect for sharing and as an appetiser.

Aesthetic cafe but prices are steep Fantastic ambience. Quiet, cosy, and aesthetic cafe in a more 'atas' shopping mall along Orchard Road. The Prawn Capellini ($26.50) was splendid - chockful of ingredients which made it all the more fun to mix together and enjoy every delicious bite. The Crispy French Toast ($15.90) was also quite unique with the cereal crust on the brioche giving it a nice crunch with every bite. Pair it with the chantilly cream and maple syrup and you've got yourself a sinfully delectable sweet treat to end the meal with. We finished everything off with a Chengdu Tea Cup Osmanthus Latte ($9.50) which was technically just latte with sprinkles of osmanthus flowers which gave it a light aroma but not to the taste. Overall, a nice place to have brunch and chat but the prices are slightly steep.

aburi mentaiko fries oh this was so yumzz big portion and although fries were thick, they remained crispy. mentaiko was q salty which is great so this a must-get!

Many places do their hollandaise overly sour or heavy, but this had the right amount of cream, with its brightness peeping from pops of tobiko✨

Hot chocolate Tanzania 7.5nett One for the hipsters. I really dislike this place. They don't reply their insta, they're cashless, hard to find, cannot takeaway. Just a general pain in the neck Given how they encourage people to dine in, you can imagine how packed this place is with hobos. 30mins before they closed, the place is still packed. Jesus Christ This hot choc is not well crafted at all. The milk foam is thick as hell, to the point I thought the chocolate is weak. Chocolate notes are dark and fruity, without much sweetness at all. Except that it's all at the bottom, as if it's not properly dissolved. So first 3 mouthfuls just milk and last 2 mouthfuls almost pure chocolate that's way too intense. Nope

Good coffee and vibes Finally tried @apartmentcoffee and I loved both the coffee and vibes at this chill cafe! I had a simple Iced Latte ($6.50) which had strong aromatic notes and it was abit fruity even. Just the right amount of milk, this was an enjoyable cup! The ceramic cup given was also really pretty. I like how they have a good number of art pieces around that added to the chill vibes they provided! Really does make you feel relaxed. This is quite a popular cafe, so do note that they limit dining time to about an hour! This is still good for a short chill conversation with your loved ones, or short pause from your daily activities. Will be back when I'm around in the area!

Chocolate - Uganda Kisinga (Hot - $7.50 + Oat Milk - $0.50)) based on my memories (tastebub), I got citrus with berries and molasses. But their chocolate was not bad even though I opt out for oat milk because sis needChocolate - Uganda Kisinga to eat buffet lol. I preferred to drink something hot before the buffet to calm my nerves first. I did enjoyed their cafe environment to be cosy and minimalist style.

Chicken Breast The chicken breast ($17++) comes with buttered corn, mushrooms, potato skins milk mash. The chicken breast is moist and tender but a tad too salty.

Dashi Risotto 💵: $21 📈: 9.5/10 🤔: 24 hours since I had this and I'm still thinking about it because it was THAT good. -0.5 because it was a tad bit pricey for the small portion, but definitely made affordable with beyond. Fried enoki mushrooms not only added a nice crunch but also great flavour.

Tom Kha Capellini 💵: $19 📈: 7/10 🤔: Would be better if the dish was served hotter, but it might also be because of the capellini's inability to retain heat. The shrimp paste was bouncy and shrimp floss added to the light tom yum flavour, pretty good dish overall!

Big Cheese ($8.00) A slob of messy mac and cheese was exactly want I needed. 😌 I chose the specialty Big Cheese which comes with pulled beef, Gruyère and truffle oil. An excellent combo for a lazy afternoon.

DIY Mac And Cheese Super nice staff but the food was meh. Maybe I shouldn't have DIY-ed.

Mac & Cheese This is a rather unflattering photo but I found it to be pretty good, with ingredients that complement well. You can choose to customise your own box or get their signatures. Portions may look small but the flavours are rich and hence filling, may even be a bit jelat. Overall a good experience as the place is cozy with good music and the staff are warm and friendly as well
