📝 Mindula Wijesinghe grew up in a family of tea producers. Her grandmother started the family's low altitude tea plantation which produces strong, full body teas, whilst her father built the family's tea factory. After acquiring her diploma in Tea Tasting and Plantations, she honed her skills at Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Our tea blends are from their early harvest tea leaves. She works with our chef to develop special blends to pair with our desserts.

📝 Chef Hüseyin Turan, who is now based in Singapore, is of turkish descent. Born and raised in Germany, he trained under Chef Juan Amador and rose to head the Pastry Dept in Restaurant Amador in Germany. Hüseyin also had the opportunity to understudy world renowned pastry Chef Paco Torreblanca in Alicante, Spain. Thereafter he was Head Pastry Chef at Zuma Istanbul. In the midst of building his career, Hüseyin managed to fulfil his dream of travelling and working in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona and Colombo.

Personally, my favourite of all is their Pan-seared tuna & foie gras that comes with seared tuna and foie gras, rosemary, fried leeks, unagi sauce. Literaly melts in your mouth! 😋 Also, recommend to order their Yakitori platter, in particular, garlic with crispy skin that is very fragrant and crisp. Good for sharing is their Roasted Wagyu Bone Marrow which felt like butter that is indeed an acquired taste for individuals.
