The snowflakes waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Complement it with a scoop of hazelnut roche ice cream & TADA! Heavenly....
Finally I've managed to try the dessert which had been the talked of town! I felt that it was kinda overrated and overpriced. Nontheless, the honeycomb tastes of pure natural sweetness but if you like your ice cream to be on the milky side, you'll definitely love this!
The gula melaka ice cream and green tea ice cream were yummylicious! The gula melaka wasn't really sweet as I thought it would be which was 👍! Pair them up with squared waffles and you'll feel like you're on cloud 9!
Yummeh!
3 pieces of pancakes served with egg banedicts and salmon with salad at the side. I have to say that the pancakes were fluffy and light! Though I wished there were more hollandaise sauce on my pancakes and runny yolks when i cut into the eggs. Overall it was good, you could never go wrong with salmon!
Day 2! A hot day affair but not to fret, we had ice cold coffee from Maison Ikoku and ice cream sandwiches from The Providore! To fill our starving tum-tums, we had the yummy spicy chicken sliders from Maison Ikoku and the Flavourful Messy Jumbo from I am Cafe.
Cafe Fest Sg... A place where local cafes and local bands gather. I enjoyed myself at the event with good food and drinks as well as great music.Though it was not really worth it to purchase the VIP pass, i really had a good time having given the opportunity to enjoy the food from various cafes all in one place. Kudos to the organisers for coming up with this initiative though i wished that it would be better improved and worked upon next year if there will be a next year for a similar event.
The korean food was ok. Though the serving of rice is alot. The beef was soft and tender which is to my liking.
At Bagus, they sell international cuisine at coffee shop prices! Good price. Good taste. I had the spicy phad thai and it was delicious! It comes in a set together with clear and refreshing tom yum soup and a mango salad as a side. You could never get enough of Thai food!
The briyani which was served with Dalcar and the preserved vegetaes was light and not so heavy. The serving was just nice. The curry noodles tastes like laksa but nonetheless it was good! Briyani only cost less than SGD $3, way cheaper than in SG!
The desserts served was sweet but the interiors of the cafe was superb with teddy bears sitting at each table. You'll always have a companion here at the cafe!
The yellow rice was fluffy and frangrant. The chicken together with the thai chilli sauce and the soup just makes a perfect combo. It only costs SGD $1.60 for a plate!
