I love the burgers here, the patty is prime-quality, thick and super juicy. I always order mine medium rare. Even better, they use real bread buns and not brioche.
Black Tap also fries a good chip. The chips here are fat and soft, like the plump fingers of a privileged adolencent boy. This type of chip is known as an “Idaho fry” in American lingo.
This is my go to place for emotional eating!! Read more at https://bossyflossie.com/black-tap/
In Japanese, Omakase means to “leave it to the chef” and when done well, it is an enchanting experience. The Mizuya experience was a beautiful showcase of the freshest, most imaginative plates of sushi and sashimi, reflecting the grace and skill of Chef Kenny.
We enjoyed lean and fatty tuna, flounder sashimi, truffle caviar, dried shark fin, sweet prawn and many other wonders. We bought our own wine with no corkage charge.

Old Hen is one of my favourite spots for brunch. They have an Asian-European fusion menu with interesting dishes such as mochi pancakes, avocado on toast with harissa, and fries with Singapore chilli crab. The coffee is excellent, but only available in one size. This place would be perfect if they could do coffee in a mug!

Brunch at the Colony is a very, special treat. The champagne, the oysters, the seafood are all grand. But the grandest part of all is the cheese buffet ... imagine a room just full of French cheeses! Have been a couple of times and will be back again.

I love, love, love this place! Have been about four times in the past month. I love that you can choose from six different noodle types (my favourite are the fat, flat noodles) and the soup is really fragrant - you can really taste the cloves and Sichuan pepper in every spoonful.. yummy!

Easy Noodle is a fabulous new addition to the Farrer Park food scene. Drop in for some fresh Japanese oysters and sake, or try one their more hearty European-inspired stews with noodles. You won’t pay more than $18 for a generous main or $13 for a tall, strong cocktail. Definitely recommended!!

This is the best roasted pork belly in all of Singapore. Crunchy, salty crackling; gooey, tasty fat; tender, juicy pork.... worth the queues. Also try the amazing wanton mee (wet) here.
