The best part of having Korean food is undeniably the number of side dishes. 8 kinds of side dishes & free flow, omg where to find? π€£
.
Back to the kimchi Soup, I was craving for kimchi Soup since 2 weeks before having this, so I could be a little bias here. An abundance of ingredients. Truly satisfied my craving & wanting to go back for more. Also, service was prompt & friendly, kudos to the wait staff ππΌ, κ°μ¬ν©λλ€! On a side note, happy midweek!! π
If I have to describe this one one word, it would be SPICY-till-you-cry-nonstop. Though I'm quite tolerant with spiciness, this snow squid brings to another level. No wonder the menu gave this dish 3 π₯ icon. Wonderful presentation. Good to share for 2-3 pax. .
Have a wonderful long weekend everyone~ TGIF π
So much nicer than the green tea macchiato.. I tried it at 50% sugar level, but I recommend to try it at 25% if you want to taste the bitterness of the matcha. 50% is too sweet to enjoy the matcha la.. A question to those who tried matcha latte, is the Matcha latte worth trying? #MatchaForever
Very pocket friendly, will definitely choose this over Hot Tomato anytime.
Not enough sauce. But oh well, consistency definitely takes a plunge during peak periods. .
Throwback to Geylang Serai Bazaar on Saturday night (best & worst decision made) β’ Could really see what the hype was all about. So many interesting food, so little money... π
.
I grew up while working (& playing) in Pasar malam and I fondly remembered the time when I was in Geylang Serai helping out my family business, while preparing my 'O' Levels. I was touched to see how the Pasar malam food 'evolved' during the years. I could see so much creativity there. Probably would take a second visit there soon π
π¦Grilled squid [$4.50] β’ There are 3 choices of sauces and we chose the BBQ one which is not really spicy. Interestingly tender, does not require teeth strength to conquer the squid! Today's the last day to catch this squid at Singapore Food Expo 2017!! π¦
The other drinks in the Butterfly Dream series sounds good too π
Quite a number of clams there I must say π
π¦) If you wanna try something special & local, then this is for you. If you want to experience it for the tendon, maybe Ginza offers better (in terms of the crispness of the batter) as the sauce would make the batter soggy.
The soup wasn't mind-blowing, however the presentation of this was πBatter was evenly coated and well seasoned. For the price, I think it's worth - just based on portion size alone (certainly quite different from that LeVel33 beer dining menu item hahaha) π€€
