Very crispy, fish was fresh. Sad thing was the portion was small (I would rather pay more for a bigger piece) 😕and I felt that the seasoning of the batter could be better. Kind of bland for my liking. Redeeming factor was the chips which was thinly sliced. 👍🏼

Asked my friends for their feedback and they felt the same: portion was smaller than we thought & the salted egg yolk sauce wasn't thick enough. 🙃A second trip? Maybe not. Happy TGIF everyone!! 🎉

I must say that I enjoyed the mussels the most in this dish. Tinge of citrus made everything better 🍋
It's a Nonya's dream come true! This basket full of peranakan goodies was really so sedap! 🤤 .
My 2 favourites would be the Pulot Enti & the banana fritters! 💕The presentation is so, so pretty & elegant.. see also shiok 🤤

I really liked the heat from the Chili padi, and the pasta was well-tossed with olive oil & garlic 👍🏼
Was really excited to try their Bingsu... but was rather disappointed as I felt that the ice was coarser than I expected. 😕

I also felt that there was too much red bean in both of the bingsus, the sweetness of the red bean overpowered everything. 😕Probably not the best place to have Bingsu 😅

My personal favourite has to be the Honey Spiced Roasted Chicken [$18] ! Good for sharing for 2 (unless you can finish the whole chicken 🐓) & I truly felt that it was really value for money! Individual reviews will be out soon 😁

$4 plus] • It's been a while since I had lunch at Koufu and I was so eager to try out the pasta stall! Interesting concept, I got to choose my toppings & pasta base. My order was: cream pasta, with smoked duck breast, mushrooms and a sous vide egg. I guess my expectations for any thematic cafes were lowered, & I thought that the Gudetama cafe was pretty good (besides being overpriced - it looks like I'm paying for the cuteness). .
Generous portion, kawaii-ness overload 💥 (especially the poached eggs, just look at them! 💛). But will I go back for another visit? Nah...
