Satisfying Hot Pot, Not Cheap You may be fooled by their promotion at the storefront but the price actually not that cheap. Hot Pot for 2 persons with drinks may be resulted in total bill $50++. Given there’s extra charge for dipping sauce per person. With service and GST. However overall food was satisfying, although not fantastic. Good for family lunch or dinner. As they provide incentives of soft toys if you accumulate points.

Cheap Hotpot $39.90 with free flow drinks. Very filling, ordered their set meal for two. Don’t have to add any alacarte items. So shiok on a cold rainy evening

Taiwan Hot Pot Shi LI Fang offers 50% off their Ala-carte menu with a variety of vegetables, meat and seafood. On top of that, there are 20 types of dipping sauces that we can mix and match with our food. Not the best hot pot but it's value for money and good for group gatherings.

Decent Hotpot Went there for some dinner promo but the bill ended up reaching $80 for 2 pax!!! But the food was really great and we ate ALOT, they even give their customers a free and cute plushie soft toy. We ordered mala and collagen pork or chicken soup, both were really good and the dipping sauces we amazing.

Budget Hot Pot definitely one of the more affordable options in the world of hotpots! meats and soup (tomato) were okay, nothing ultimately fantastic but all in all value for money $$ liked how you could get an individual pot to yourself :)

Wanton Noodles The Wanton Noodles ($4) from 達利古早味云吞面 at Hoa Nam Building (27 Foch Road) is surprisingly good. The springy noodles are tossed in a delicious sauce and the fiery chilli sauce gives it a punch. The plump wantons are stuffed with well-seasoned pork filling, the char siew is not too dry and the fried wantons add a nice crunch. I wasn’t expecting much, but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise:)

Wanton Mee Nothing says simple indulgence like tucking into a $4 bowl of wanton noodle from Lavender Wanton Mee (newly opened at Lavender Food Hub). They make one of the best "al-dente" noodles I've had thus far, and the secret "stock" added to the noodles has just the right amount of 'umami'. The owner is mighty generous with the accompaniments as well, which is always a plus!

Kok Kee Wanton Noodle. The queue is always long, and its singlehandedly prepared by this old aunty. Amazing how she does everything by herself. So wait patiently in line and then you'll be rewarded with a bowl of pristine wanton noodles. Priced at $5.50, it's on the pricey side. Blue Burger ($45++) Tanuki Raw has recently launched their new Blue Burger, exclusively available at their National Design Centre outlet. This burger includes a 250g hand-chopped premium wagyu beef short rib tartare patty that’s lightly seared and seasoned with Tanuki Raw's sianature spice blend, sandwiched between soft and fluffy slow-roasted Yaki Imo Milk Bread, and topped with house pickles and Emmental cheese. If you like your beef on the rarer side, this is definitely the burger for you! It is also served together with a side of Mentai Cheese Waffle Fries that are crispy and savoury! Crispy Polo Egg Tart 脆皮菠蘿蛋撻 ($2.30) It's my favourite from three egg tart <3 and quite flaky and also crispy texture on the tart. I didn't expected that their egg crust to be thin and also egg tart filling itself to be too much also. :") but the egg tart taste was quite strong as I thought and did reheat it on the oven.

Fluffy ($13++); La Rose ($15++) Fluffy's passionfruit lemon jelly and strawberry crémeux does little to cut through the richness of the vanilla white chocolate mousse. It becomes difficult to finish for one person after a third because of how rich the mousse is. However, each component was executed well - just lacking in the balance with the flavours that end up being masked by the richness of the white chocolate. La Rose is the best dessert for pictures, but I personally thought it looked better than it tasted since it just left the impression of a typical dark chocolate cake. With that said, I think Antoinette still held its dignity with the separate components that make up the cakes, as well as their delivery on presentation.
