Ordered this just for the pandan pearl but sadly the pandan taste was barely there... But the texture of the pearl was good, chewy but not overly soft or hard. Would suggest to get the classic Thai milk tea with their standard tapioca pearls instead!
Liked that they offered customizable sugar level for those who prefer lesser or zero sugar for their drinks 👍🏻

Tried the Mala Poke and Japanese Sashimi Poke ($14.90 for medium) with #BurppleBeyond! Went on a Saturday afternoon and surprisingly barely had to wait. The mala and teriyaki marinate for the salmon sashimi was tasty and had a fairly generous serving! But the portion of rice and ingredients were lesser than expected, given that we ordered medium? Probably would only get it if there was the Beyond deal, otherwise it’s quite pricy for the portion imo!

Used the #BurppleBeyond deal for 1-for-1 Main + Appetizer + Drinks which was very worth it! Managed to save $21 and portion sizes were decent. Had the Thai Boat Noodles ($10), Mango Salad ($12), Moo Ping ($8) and Thai Milk Tea ($3). Would recommend the Beef Thai Boat Noodles if you’re looking for a rich and thick broth, infused with the meaty flavors, otherwise the Pork version is a lot lighter.
Mango salad and moo ping was good, but might not recommend the Thai Milk Tea because it was lacking on the tea aroma and overpowering on the milky side.

Had mad dimsum cravings last weekend so decided to try 126 instead of our usual Mongkok Dim Sum haunt 🥟🥢
We spent about $51 for 2 pax there and had a filling good time. Notable dishes included their Deep Fried Carrot Cake, Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun and Yam and Pork Belly Beancurd. Other than that, the food was just normal and char siew bao was lacking in sweetness tbh. The 红油云吞 was a measly portion as well 😕

Super fluffy and not overly sweet, these donuts make indulging worth it 🍩
Tried the Chocolate ($2.90), Kaya ($2.90) and Limone ($3.20) donuts, which were filled with light and creamy fillings. Personally prefer the chocolate and kaya over limone? The limone filling tasted similar to the Khong Guan lemon cream biscuits so if you’re a fan of those, you might want to give this donut a try!
The kaya was the best overall, with fragrant pandan flavour oozing from the pillowy soft donut!
Do come by early as they make only a few batches daily and tend to sell out pretty fast! 💨

Super chill and laid back with artisanal teas and quality cakes! Used #BurppleBeyond for 1-for-1 Beverage and tried the popular Soursop Sencha ($6.50) and Passion Fruit Earl Grey Tea ($6.30). Not overly sweet but a balance between tea and fruit, tea lovers will definitely enjoy this place. Had the Signature Roll ($7.50) which was a Okinawa brown sugar cake with gula melaka cream - this was the highlight of the night! Unassuming in appearance but light and creamy (without being overly sweet), I would definitely recommend to give this a try 👍🏻

Had the Fish Taco and Pulled Pork Tacos! Pretty good just that the portion is quite small (2 tacos for $13?)
Ordered the Holy Trinity as well, which is their nacho chips with guac and pico de gallo. Crispy and light chips with flavorful dips = 10/10 👌🏻
Would recommend placing a reservation cause space is quite limited and try to come earlier (not at 2pm when their last order was 2:30pm because it can get quite rushed)

Got the Breakfast Sammy ($14) and Biggie Croque ($18), which was really good! Expect generous portions, well-toasted sandwiches and a long waiting time if you’re heading down on a weekend (we waited ~1 hour). Do go early to avoid disappointment because they sell out pretty early, especially their delicious donuts 🤤

Wanted to order the Roast Chicken BLT but I can’t eat seaweed so opted for the Kale Mushroom Melt instead. Honestly this was my second option because mushroom + cheese + bread just seems like the perfect sandwich to me! Though a tad pricey at $16, I thoroughly enjoyed it so delicious food wins 🙌🏻 Would definitely want to try the tater tots next time round~

I’ve been dying to try the “best tau sar bao” by Forty Hands for a suuuuper long time so I braved the crowds on the Phase 2 weekend and finally got my hands on it!

The bun was so fluffy and dough to filling ratio was definitely just right for me. The red bean paste wasn’t overly sweet either! Though for $2.50 a pop, I’ll probably only get it if I’m in the area.

We also had their 40 Hands Cubanos, shared amongst two. The portion was H U G E and I could barely finish my half of the sandwich so definitely worth $20! Plus the pork was tender and the jalapeños gave it a nice spicy kick. I saw a lot of people ordering the Stinky Har Cheong Hai Waffle ($19) — next on my “to-eat list” for sure!

Really liked their latte (I had mine with oat milk) and considering how I’m not much a coffee person, this really surprised me!
