The Saveur Pasta, a starter of angel hair pasta and dried shrimp, doubles as a small meal if you're not particularly hungry but looking for something to fill your tummy nonetheless.
Welcome to the Instagrammer/hipster's version of IKEA; think gorgeous wood furniture showroom meets cafe in industrial MacPherson. Rainbow cake was decent and you get a coffee for an extra $2!
Who says healthy food has to be boring? Avocado miso salmon cubes atop sushi rice infused with seedless chilli garlic, along with other fresh goodies make up one of the many possible combinations here. 10/10 for presentation and flavour! Full review: http://ow.ly/p1TL302EuRe
Unlike other places trying to pass off processed, preserved ingredients as health food, the blended banana in this superfood smoothie was LEGIT FRESH. Chocolate shavings and pomegranate added a combination of sweet, sour and crunchy to this cup of fresh blended goodness. Full review: http://ow.ly/p1TL302EuRe
Spicy Mee with a kick - pulled pork, meatballs, onsen egg and a hell lot of spice on top of noodles. Not the faint hearted!
This Pika pasta is a combination of sweet and salty that left my tastebuds...very confused. Pokemon Cafe is for kids through ma through, from the taste to the presentation. Although no one will judge you if you're an adult going through second childhood. 🙃 Full review at http://ow.ly/vihW300NdEh
One of the cheaper dessert options, I am Purin 🎵 Pompompurin Pudding - yes, there's an actual 🎵 in the name - comes with stickingly sweet caramel syrup and chocolate covered biscuit beret. #purinception. Best to share with a friend as it's on the dense side. Full review at http://ow.ly/etvi300GjSm

Finally got round to trying the highly popular Pompompurin Cafe at Orchard Central! The Taco Rice dish certainly stands out from the rest, with Purin shaped rice peeking out of the cup. Not too bad in terms of taste, too - don't you just want to dive into a bed of Colours with Purin? Full review at http://ow.ly/etvi300GjSm
You can never have too much furikake, and Dapper Coffee's vegetarian pasta proves it. Topped with runny egg, this dish packs a kick in its nori-cashew pesto. A must try whether you're a pasta lover.
As Gordon Ramsay said, if you don't make your own meatballs, you're just lazy. And here at Free the Robot, you have three flavours to choose from: surf and turf, chicken, and beef. Pair it up with some fragrant jasmine rice for a homely meal in the CBD! Full review on chueonit.com
Fancy a little me-time with your tea time? The rustic premises of The Bravery provide an idyllic escape from the urban hustle and bustle. The S'more Pie is just nice for one, with sticky, melted s'mores over a chocolately layer followed by a crumbly biscuit base. Pair it with the Lavender Latte!
