The pho is kinda like kway teow, not the authentic viet rice noodles. Itâs rather soft but not soggy. The beancurd roll is not bad, like those you find in zhaimifen. There are some oyster mushrooms as well. Soup is nice, clear and tasty, yet not too salty, served piping hot.
For toppings thereâs basil, coriander, beansprouts, and onions. Overall I liked it, itâs a nice and light on the palate. If you want something with more flavour, the no crab noodles would be a better choice!
Artisan cheese and charcuterie handmade dip/s, gourmet crackers, house-roasted nuts, premium chocolate, fruit, olives, pickles, cruditĂŠs, vine tomatoes, quince paste and herbs/edible flowers, pork deli meat.
1 dip, 3 cheeses 3 meats - website says it feeds 3-4 pax! 3 of us *almost* managed to finish it, nibbling here and there towards the end of our 3-4 hour picnic. We had this + a box of aburi sushi from donki for dinner. Was pretty nice, everything was fresh / crunchy as it is supposed to be! Eat the crackers first as they became soggy at the end of the night.
Cake was moist with a coarser crumb, wasn't as limey in the middle, but the bottom was super limey and zesty, makes u pucker but I like supersour stuff so this was great. The icing was v sugary but also v limey, tasted like lozenges for some reason. Honestly could do without the icing, itâs too sweet. But I guess itâs the standard bundt glaze. Overall not bad, would want to try the other bundt flavours!
Soft stewy apples had a nice flavour, sweet but tart, the spices gave it some autumnal vibes. I wished it had more of a bite, and it was too greasy. Itâs crisp on the outermost layer, tho not flaky, itâs more bready than layered. Itâs alright but not a must-buy, I prefer their other stuff.
This is the dough type, I wished it was more crisp. Only slightly crispy at the browned edges). Upside is that it quite light, not too greasy. The fish curry is kinda spicy for me, tangy and quite tasty, consistency is not too watery or thick.
Overall thought it was decent, but not queue worthy for me. Thereâs perpetually a small queue, but it isnât too long. Has potential tho, maybe I shall try it again. Eating it plain (no curry) was actl not bad, the dough was slightly sweet and fragrant.
Their mhk was decent, has some bite to it but itâs not the thicc and chewy types. Go for the youmian instead, itâs the nicest to me! As usual, the highlight is their soup which is sooo good. It has a wonderful natural sweetness from the seafood and pork. Soup > dry for me! Love that they use mani cai too. It comes with 2 large juicy prawns.
Noodles have a nice texture, itâs slightly softer than al dente but still has a bite. I like this but itâs considered soft for the true al dente standard. Tastes a bit like pasta?? Itâs rather smooth and kinda slippery. Portions here are p large.
Dark sauce is fine, tasty enough - not sure if thereâs lard but itâs not very oily. Sliced pork is lean, not v tender, some pieces were kinda tough. Minced pork was softer. Ikan bilis was crunchy, shallots fragrant.
Egg drop soup was tasty!! Not salty. Overall, enjoyed my bowl of noodles, itâs quite shiok when piping hot. Compared to my fav penang heng heng, this feels more like an everyday option, as itâs not as lardy and noodles are not as thick and filling.
My first time trying! Was p decent, beef slices and onions were thin and soft, rice was of decent quality (but tori q is still better) and sauce wasnât too sweet or salty. Not too dry nor saucy! Mixing a runny egg yolk into the rice and beef was tasty. Miso soup was q standard, had quite a bit of kelp. Kangkong was alright, crunchy and had lots of chopped garlic. They served us roasted rice tea upon being seated.
Overall pretty decent and cheap compared to other options in the mall cluster. I wouldnât mind returning to try other items, but I wonât actively *want* to go~
Yums! The porridge was of a nice consistency, smooth and not too thick and goopy, yet also not watery. The meatballs were also seasoned so it was very flavourful. Youtiao was crisp! Satisfied and would definitely be back despite the 20 min wait.
Canât believe I havenât tried their egg tarts before this! Their crust is the cookie crust type, which was crunchy and sweet, and rather resilient - was still slightly crunchy even after a day in the fridge. The egg custard is supper jiggly, smooth and light, was pudding-like which is not typically my preference but I still rly liked it somehow. Thought this was not as sweet as some other egg tarts out there!
My FAV rojak of all time!! Ok itâs not like Iâve had that many rojaks in my life because honestly I just keep going back to this. The sauce is very flavourful and well-balanced, calamansi is prominent and I liked the use of ginger flower which gave a unique aroma. It is well integrated with the ingredients, comprising cucumber, youtiao, lettuce, beansprout, turnip, pineapple, taupok, and jellyfish. I love that there is jellyfish, itâs not common. The rojak is liberally topped with roasted crunchy peanuts.
I donât like century egg but my bf does so I ate a bit of the whites, it was surprisingly palatable.
TLDR my fav rojak ever

§čް DUCK PORRIDGE

Pretty decent duck rice! The duck meat was alright, some cuts were more tender but nothing was dry/tough, in part due to the savoury sauce which wasnât too goopy or salty. Generous serving of cucumber at the bottom, which was refreshing and helped to cut through the savoury flavours. I surprisingly liked the hard boiled egg, and the braised tofu was v nice, soft and fresh and tasty.
Rice was alright, moist and sauces but not particularly fragrant/flavourful. Soup was fine too but also nothing special.
Overall thought this was only slightly above average at best (I rly liked the taukwa and nothing was offensive). Wouldnât specially head down for this but I wouldnât mind having it again.
