Was super surprised by how good this tasted! Juicy crust seared beef patty sandwiches between fluffy buns was the perfect mid-day hunger solution.
Chewy, handmade noodles soaked in thick and super rich broth (don’t think of the calories and you’re good).
If you like your ramen with lots of meat, give this bowl a try! This comes with additional thick-cut, melt-in-your-mouth chashu.
The amount of spicy chilli paste they gave was a little pathetic but you can always request for more!
Perhaps I have been utterly spoiled by Ebony & Ivory’s scrambled eggs, so I was expecting my eggs to be creamy and uber flavourful.
It was good, not great, but average at best.
Though I loved the sourdough.
Confessions of a foodie/cafe enthusiast/bread lover from Puchong: we are in need of more cafes like these!
Menu is still limited as of now, but I quickly became a fan after I’ve had a taste of their signature drink, the Matcha Matcha Sakura.
It’s basically matcha latte with watermelon popsicle-like cubes, then garnished with Sakura petals. As elegant as it looks (and sounds), it sure does taste good!
Absolutely adored the richness and umami-ness of the matcha.
I’m lactose intolerant but boy would I tolerate the pain for this glass again.
They come in a set so if you’re a sucker for scones, you’re in luck. I like that it’s not dry at all and was moist (although some might deem it to be TOO moist).
Served with strawberry jam and butter, definitely order this is you want something to nibble on.
Enough to feed 4!
Meat was soooo juicy. If you’re all about keeping fit, avoid the skin because that’s we’re all the fatty goodness went. But if you don’t mind the extra calories, dig right in. (The latter is very much recommended, worry about your diet tomorrow).
Came here for the duck, stayed for the char siew and siu yok.
I kid you not, the siu yok was the very definition of melt-in-your-mouth. Char siew was perfectly caramelised.
Noodles were super springy.
Osaka Kitchen is famed for their okonomiyaki, in which up to 30 minutes of preparation is needed. Each set comes with one of these big fat babies which is definitely enough to feed 2 (or even 3)!
Eat it while it’s hot! It’s super delicious! I loved it although I struggled to finish the whole thing with my partner (we couldn’t).
PS. If you’re not a fan of the mayo and sweet sauce, you can choose to opt out the condiments!
Tender and juicy beef. Though for its price, I would definitely expect more than this.
Don’t expect regular tortilla chips in this platter. Tommy Thongchai does exquisite nachos made with deep-fried wanton skins topped with flavourful meat gravy!
I remember medium being huge enough to feed 2, you can also get an extra large for RM28!
Sandwiched between the crusty sourdough were thick slices of beef and pickles. Sadly the mustard smeared on the inner surface of the bread turned it into wet toast which was.. unfortunate.
Not sure what a sourdough croissant is supposed to taste like, nor do I know what makes it any different from a normal croissant, but I think I prefer a normal croissant if all sourdough editions of the buttery and flaky pastry taste just like this.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible, it’s just not amazing.
Expected more but this was a little too dense for my taste.
