It's one of the days that you needed something to indulge on. This LSB never fails to amaze me each time I visit Victor's Kitchen. At it's hidden corner of Sunshine Plaza. Do spot their little yellow signboard 😄
At their deserted location, shophouses under HDB flats. You won't expect there's cafés along that street. With word of mouth spreading across media, so i decided to take a visit last night. I love how the ambience of cafe is, but sadly, it wasn't pocket friendly at all for the food they are providing. Definitely they would need improvement on the food too. Thus, I would say it's a stop you have when you're nearby for desserts! 😅
Service sucks but food is quite nice.
some restaurants just escape your radar totally. nana thai at far east plaza has been around for the longest time and earns its loyal followers. menu is not much thai but food is good and flavorful. most importantly, does not hurt your pocket a bit after a day's shopping.
At the corner of the food centre, you can hear fierce wok action. The smell of stirfry will bring you to the small Thai store, will limited menu, simple quick and delicious. I wouldn't say it's the greatest Thai meal I had. But the comforting street style food is enough to bring me back on the streets of Thailand, minus the heavy dose of MSG.
My boyfriend and I term this the hipster coffee shop. For $2~/piece, the friend chicken wings here are juicy and tender to the bone. Batter and crisp and light and meat is full of flavour. For $13, the Laksa seafood linguine had very generous seafood portions. Would have liked a more creamy sauce though!
I never thought I would mind too much fish in my chirashi but oddly enough, I did. Though fresh, the fish was heavily seasoned and that kinda ruined the taste for me. But at $17, nubbad to get your chirashi fix.
Best meat ball I've ever tasted and best of all hand made by a one-armed chef. His noodles and soup are great.
Refreshingly cold, and with just the right amount of sweetness, this is the perfect thing for a sultry day. I thought the fresh-cut grapes were a nice touch and was glad that the lychee flavour wasn't overpowering.
This is what I call a spread of food. Comforting and delicious. The fish cake and ikan billis were especially good!
Cost: $69 for 9 people
Mmmmmm.... Too good to talk about it. Dig in!
Delicious ramen, with refreshing Lemon Soda.
