It was a nice sandwich overall. The buns were well toasted and we really liked the crispy bits in the sandwich. The dipping sauce that came with the fries was nice too. However, we felt that the sausage was a little too salty, and we had to drink a decent amount of water along with it to get it down.
Starting the day right with this delicious matcha latte. Great matcha flavour!
Sourdough toasties with emmental, red cheddar and brie. We had pretty high hopes but these tasted just average. The bread was really well toasted but the cheese just wasn’t melty and gooey enough... the tomato chilli relish makes it a little nicer though!
The white cold brew was quite a let down... the coffee was too diluted and lacked creaminess
The flat white on the other hand was delicious! It was not too bitter nor acidic with a much better flavour than the white cold brew
Ultimate cheese toasties with brie, gouda, cheddar and mozzarella. This grilled cheese sandwich really meets expectations and it’s one of the better ones out there!
Beef pastrami toasties with mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers. Really decadent and substantial. Crisps on the side were light and nicely seasoned with salt and pepper too.
Big chunks of tender pork belly in a delicious soy sauce gravy. These had the perfect fat to meat ratio with a punch of flavour from the marinade. Their food doesn’t disappoint!
One of the more popular dishes at Wild Honey is this spicy shakshouka. Tomatoey and flavourful without being too oily and acidic, this had to be one of the best shakshoukas I’ve had so far. Opt for the soft pillowy brioche bread and you’ll thank be later.
This was one loaded bowl of bee hoon! It’s neither dry nor oily, with a good punch of savouriness. It gets quite salty with the ikan bilis though, so you might want to have less of it.
Glazed in a delicious soy sauce, the chicken was well marinated and tender. The soy sauce makes the rice really tasty too! I had the impression that the rice will be crispy since it’s ‘claypot’, but this was just regular steamed rice. I suppose only the chicken was cooked in a claypot. This was delicious nonetheless!
The salmon steak was juicy and well-roasted👍🏼 The side dishes include a generous scoop of mashed purple sweet potato, broccoli with sesame dressing and some pickled coleslaw. Spice it up with the wasabi mayo!
The in-house brewed kombucha was a nice touch to this hearty meal too
Now if that cookie isn’t the cutest thing ever then I don’t know what is. Coffee was good and nutty. Smooth and delicious!
