Had dinner at Meadesmoore and really enjoyed it. The Chicharones were a tasty start, and the Gooralie Pork Chop was excellent, super tender with a rich whisky sauce. The Roasted Honey Saffron Cauliflower was a nice refreshing balance to the meat-heavy meal. Ended with the Tiramisu, which had great cream and a strong hit of alcohol.

Cozy ambience with dim lights made it feel warm and quiet. Perfect spot for a date or family dinner.

We went for a midday lunch and really enjoyed the authentic handmade dimsum! The Pao Fan was great with a flavourful soup base, and our favourite was the fried beancurd skin.

Location was really near Maxwell MRT, right behind the food centre so it was supwr
convenient. Overall chill and nice lunch spot in the CBD area.

Went to The House Chung Dam for KBBQ, near my office area and it was a really good experience overall. We had the ribeye and the marinated pork rib (the pork rib was the highlight for me) super flavorful, really tender, and honestly didn’t even need sauce. The ribeye was decent too, but for the price I expected a bit more in terms of portion.

We also tried the cheese-potato jeon, which I thought was such a clever dish. Kind of like a thick rosti pancake stuffed with spam and cheese, heavier than I expected but very tasty. The omelette fried rice was flavorful and quite filling. Between those two dishes we were pretty full before even finishing the BBQ.

The sides were solid, especially the egg salad and marinated onions. We ended up asking for extra because they were that good. Service was great too!! the chef cooked the meat for us and got it just right, so we just got to sit back and enjoy.

My partner took me to Ingleside for a dinner date and it honestly blew me away. We ordered the Iberico Chuletero and Wagyu Picanha, both cooked to absolute perfection. Not exaggerating when I say it was the best dry-aged Iberico I’ve ever had 🤩. I also tried Marsala sauce for the first time, and it completely surpassed my expectations (I even asked for extra). Watching the meats being grilled over a wood-fired flame just made the whole experience even better.

Special shoutout to the kombu-cured scallops which were so juicy and paired perfectly with the pickled green apples. Highly recommend trying that one!

The sourdough bread with miso butter, plus the lemon ginger spritzers, were perfect palate cleansers between bites. On top of all that, the staff were so warm and welcoming, and explained every dish with so much care. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for another amazing meal. 👏🏻

Had dinner at Salmon Warrior Paya Lebar. The Tsukune Chick with Potato was the highlight, soft yet dense, and the sauces were good. Teriyaki Salmon Udon was a bit mild for my taste, so i added some soy sauce and chilli powder for slightly more flavour.

Had dinner at PizzaExpress at Millenia Walk and the service stood out right away, staff were super friendly and kept checking in without being overbearing.

We started with the dough balls and chicken wings. The dough balls with butter were surprisingly good!! Soft, warm, and hit the spot.

For mains, we had the Calabrese Pizza and Lemon Chicken Linguine. Both had a solid spicy kick, which was slightly strong for us. The pizza had a great thin crust, cooked just right and the pasta was super flavourful. Overall, solid meal and would go back.

Had a great experience at One Prawn & Co. The ambience was nice, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I had the Prawn Toast and Holy Haddock Fish Burger, both were delicious, especially the prawn toast which was crisp and flavorful. The seaweed butter and honey toast was good, though not exceptional.

The highlight was the lobster poached rice!! Succulent lobster, not overcooked, with a rich, umami broth that tied everything together beautifully.

Overall, an amazing meal. Highly recommended, especially for date night!

Had dinner at Market Bistro (MBFC) and tried the Garlic Prawn and Duck Leg Confit.

Prawns were fresh and garlicky, super shiok. Duck was tender with crispy skin, and the sauce was just nice. Would’ve been perfect with a bit more mushroom or pepper kick.

Nice vibe and friendly staff, will be back to try more!!

Hopscotch Capitol is such a fun spot. The place feels open and chill, with a cozy vibe that’s perfect for after-work dates or hangouts near the CBD.

I had the Chilli Lobster Mafaldine Pasta and I enjoyed it, it had strong chilli crab flavours and the lobster was tender, not rubbery.

The drinks were the best part. I tried “Wish Upon a Lantern,” where you write a wish and they flame it up. Super cool touch. All the cocktails were creative and great for photos.

Service was friendly and made the whole experience even better. Chris was incredibly helpful with accommodating us with our cocktail choice! Definitely recommend for a fun night out.

Loved the deep umami of the prawn soup, especially with it served bubbling in a claypot.
The noodles had a great bite, pork ribs were tender, and the Ngoh Hiang was perfectly crisp.
Though not the most central spot, the food made it well worth the journey.

Had dinner at Seng House, and really enjoyed it. I had the Rustic Duck Confit Gnocchi – the duck was super tender and the gnocchi was soft and flavourful. My partner got the Double Bacon Smash Burger, and it was juicy with just the right amount of crisp from the bacon. They have a good wine selection too. The place is cosy and not too noisy, perfect for a relaxed date night. Would definitely come back.
