had this before but this was pretty disappointing because it was a little dry with not much depth to it. probably came on a bad day because i remembered this to be a lot nicer. i would say that assembly ground has nice food generally but they can be rather inconsistent at times.

after discount, it was approximately $15 per person? would still patronise with the discount because their pasta portions are quite substantial.

Had such high hopes for this because they sold the OG truffle fries in Singapore. However it is probably the most disappointing one I’ve had thus far, with its lack of truffle flavour and unjustifiably high price. I guess we were paying for the atmosphere but it won’t be my go-to place if I were craving for a good plate of truffle fries :(

This was their sandwich of the month (October 2021) so it probably won’t be offered anymore, if I’m not wrong. Nonetheless this was slightly disappointing because the sourdough was so tough that the knife couldn’t cut through it. It was quite flavourful taste wise but the texture of the sourdough was quite off putting. I don’t think the price was justified as well.

The best item on their menu in my opinion. Wok hey was prominent and tasty. It wasn’t jelak like the other dishes offered, and cheapest on the menu too!

This appeared gimmicky but actually tasted quite nice and noodles were springy. Probably good to share because it can get a bit jelak if you have the whole bowl to yourself. Great to add the Chili especially since it cuts through the creaminess of the salted egg.

This was sour and acidic which wasn’t what we expected. Odd pairing with the sweet cream which didn’t help to balance out the acidity of the coffee.

Recommend to skip this especially considering the price.

Best comfort food on a rainy day! They were generous with the seafood which were fresh, and went very well with the sweet yet light pumpkin soup. A good balance between sweet and savoury, worth a try especially with the burpple deal!

The Breakfast Works ver.2 $24
This was a HUGE portion but it got a little too salty and oily after awhile. Nothing was exceptional but still a yummy meal. Not worth it without the burpple deal.

Truffle Eggs Prosciutto $22
Loved the truffle eggs - creamy and well-seasoned. It would have been better if more elements were added to the dish because it got a bit too much towards the end.

What stood out was definitely the truffle scrambled eggs and broccoli. The eggs were creamy and had a strong taste of truffle, while the broccoli was well seasoned and crunchy. Was disappointed that they ran out of the tofu bowl that day because I would have much preferred their tofu over the luncheon meat, which was pretty standard.

Worth the price, especially with the burpple discount (~$5.50 per person with the 1-for-1 discount).

Syip white coffee $6.50
Thoroughly enjoyed this unique cup of coffee which came with whipped cream (I’m guessing they used mascarpone cheese because the drink tasted pretty much like a liquid tiramisu, in a good way!) It came with a double shot espresso which really cut through the creaminess from the cream and milk. Highly recommend this!

Hot white $5
This came in a cute and aesthetic cup, with a single shot of espresso. It was a perfect balance between coffee and milk and overall a very good cup of coffee as well.

Loves the drinks and the atmosphere. Hope to try their food one day!

The burrata was very creamy and gave the pizza a light touch to it. It complemented the pesto sauce as well which gave the pizza a slightly tangy touch.

The staff were very friendly too and took the initiative to recommend the popular items to us since it was our first time there.
