Truffle somen take my money. Boruto is my to-go place for tapas. Love this truffle somen as it provides complements the other rich-flavoured tapas we order. It’s one of the those places that you would return repeatedly because every single item you’d order, there’s nothing much to complain about. PLUS they have happy hour lasting till 8pm which makes it the perfect spot for a weekend wind down :)

I think three meals a day has officially taken over Woorinara as my favorite Bukit Timah Korean joint because I think the food is as tasty but the portions are just right. Pictured is the cheesy chicken bulgogi which has a generous amount of kimchi which my friends love. The macaroni sides and egg omelette really make me wanna return. Full house on a Wednesday, says a lot about this place :)

Took me so long to realise the existence of apiary and I am totally craving for this after every meal now. I went back thrice a week and my work place is not even central. Personal favorite is the chocolate because I love that it is not too sweet. Apiary is a bit milky for me. Despicable (me) is featured here too, no prizes for guessing that flavour. Among my friends, everyone had their favorite, so I guess it really depends. But I really love the fuss free vibe here at apiary. Will be back again!

Leng Kee is known for its generous portions of sliced fish. Add a bowl of beancurd skin to complete the meal. All you need to beat the Monday blues 😌

Back at Mukini! I loved everything about the sashimi set lunch I ordered from the rice to the sashimi. Somehow I remembered the sashimi slices used to be thicker though. hmmm nonetheless, it’s great. Heard there’s 50% promo with Amex card so that’ll really be a great deal.

Interesting twist to my fav nasi lemak but the tempura can get too overwhelming after a while. Enjoyed the chilli and rice though. If there was a way to ‘tone down’ on the fried tempura portion (okay contradictory since it’s meant to be tempura Nasi lemak I know).. but thumbs up for presentation and innovation for sure! I got the one for one with burpple app though so it’s kinda worth it for now!

Often touted as overprice Nasi lemak, I’d gladly pay to eat here again. I’ve been here multiple times and I really love how tender and tasty the chicken is here. :)

I love these fluffy eggs and the whole vibe at suju. This is priced at $12 but I will order this without hesitation again. I don’t have a good picture of my set lunch but if you like home-cooked style Japanese food, this is the place for lunch.

I rate this as the better dish among those we ordered because of the plum salted tomatoes. Great vegetarian option!

Really love the presentation and colours for this plate. Scrambled eggs were a little too runny for my liking. Truffle taste was not super strong but that was alright for me. Overall, I felt this was quite reasonable but drawback was that this was not considered as a main under entertainer one-for-one.

Shared this between the 5 of us a while back. Best ribs ever! I also enjoy the maggie goreng. Cheese fries okay, skip the truffle fries.

I had this a while back and aoki is one of my to go places for a weekday set lunch. Mazechirashi is my favourite - every mouth is a burst of flavours. Pls reserve, mazechirashi comes in limited portions daily!
