Beans are from Dutch colony. Pastries are supplied from BAO again. Pretty decent coffee. Too much cafe sprouting out with the coffee supplied from pretty common roasters as well as the pastries. So IMHO, to stand out, your interior and service has to be really good. Otherwise the hype won't last. (I'm talking about cafes with just coffee and pastries of course)
Super friendly owners who are jovial and warm. Totally brings up the atmosphere, making you feel so comfortable and at home. Serving Papa Palheta's Terra Firma which leaves a slightly brighter after taste (for my piccolo latte) compared to the usual throwback I've had. But when balanced (in the case of latte) it tastes pretty similar to throwback 😅😅 (lousy tongue I've) btw ITS A MUST TO ORDER THE ICED CHOCOLATE ITS REALLY THE BOMBZ OKKK and the Bananoffe cake 👍👍 Pastries are supplied by BAO (what's new?) haha if it's not in the east, I'll probably frequent them pretty often.
Travelled all the way to the east to give this newly open cafe. Their cafe are designed cater to the petrol station theme. Menu ranging from Full Tank, Fuel ME up to REFUEL pancake. We had the recommended stack of pancake serve with scrambled eggs with Bratwurst Sausage at $9.90 nett. On a side note, what are the must try cafe in the east? Please let me know! 😂
Fresh and crunchier big brekkie with additional butter mushrooms. Love the crunchy and sweet tomatoes.
Possibly the next 'Chipotle'. Pieology Pizzeria build-on-your-own pizza. Freshly baked thin crust pizza, makes you wanna come back another time and try another one. Hooked.
Love the little thing near where you sip your coffee. The texture matches with your lip and makes it a sensual coffee drinking experience.
Lunch treat from the team. M.Y. China serves hot and fresh food that makes it extra good.
Feels completely unexpected from its outside, Sightglass gives a charming and spacious feeling when you step in. Feels like a little coffee farm, order your coffee off the counter and head off to the seats on the first floor or take the stairs up to the second.
Here's a view from the second floor "coffee bar sitting". It's not uncommon to meet fellow entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, students who just want a space to meet and work on things that change people's lives.
A Menlo Cafe favourite. Not my preference though, guess I'm still an eggs and wrap guy.
Lunch set $15. Great food, good service. Value for money in this little cosy Italian restaurant in the heart of Carmel.
The same vibe filled with young students and working folks alike. Mountain View Castro St's favourite ramen.
