This reminds me of a childhood flavour profile and brings back memories of primary sch food.

The curry was flavourful and wasn’t overly rich such that I could drink the curry on its own! Noodles were abit too soft for my liking, but I enjoyed how it pairs with the curry sauce. The batter of the cutlet is not too thick, thus doesn’t overpower the taste of the juicy chicken underneath.

Super worth it with one-for-one Burpple Beyond deal.

The seafood chunks were substantial and fresh. Appreciated that the wasabi is in such a cute shape!

The zup was super tasty and fragrant, and coats every lala.

One of my favourite prawn mee stalls.

The soup is packed with seafoody essence and super flavourful. Best drunk when it’s steaming hot!

The dry noodles were very flavourful was well, with heaps of scallions. The sauce is different from usual dry prawn mee, I believe that there’s vinegar/tomato sauce which adds a mild tanginess to the noodles - which enhances the sauce even more.

Well this might look like a complete mess and absolutely unappetizing but trust me, this gooey plate was unforgettable.

For some inexplicable reason, I find myself coming back to satisfy my curry rice craving. There isn’t another stall like this. The mixture of the curry sauce and dark sauce is super flavourful. I love their braised cabbage too - it really goes super well with the sauce. The pork was decent and tender, nothing too spectacular.

There’s just something abt this mess that I can’t explain.

I FREAKING LOVE THE UDON. It was super chewy. Surprising to find the broth good, since it wasn’t a tonkotsu ramen shop. It was also a refreshing and different experience since usually tonkutsu goes with thinner ramen noodles. Notwithstanding the thick udon, the broth was able to coat the udon completely. It was such a heartwarming bowl of udon. Would love to have this on a rainy day.

Garnishes (spring onions, sesame) were also available at the condiment counter.

Tucked at the corner of 100AM mall, this soba shop does not lose out to the other eateries in the mall.

Breaking the onsen egg created a creamy base for the soba, which wasn’t overly soft. The chicken was tender and flavorful, almost tasted like abalone. Would definitely be back for the cold soba which was amazing.

Don’t underestimate this unassuming bowl of dried youmian. The scallions, ikan bilis and the dark sauce was the perfect concoction of sauce. The youmian was super springy. Happy to find mushrooms too. Lastly, the chilli sauce is really out to kill... but damn this was solid.

One of the more popular stores at Bukit Timah Market. Great place to eat after a morning hike at Bukit Timah hill.

The cheecheongfuns were amazingly smooth. And the uncle not only add sweet and chilli sauce (typical sauces) but also what I believe to be sesame oil (or some other oil) but boy it was really delicious. Reminder to get 3 rolls for myself next time instead of 2!!!

Must admit, KFC isnt a place which I expect to have good egg tarts. But boy that was a wrong assumption.

The crust was flaky and buttery, yet not overly oily or jelak. Egg custard was soft, and coupled well with the chocolate. Best eaten when hot! KFC should make this a permanent item!

Had this at the jewel outlet.

Tender, thick pieces of sotong were coated with salted egg batter. Sinful, yet amazingly addictive.

Sauce was way too oily. Lackluster charsiew. Only enjoyed the springy noodles. And also, that their pork lards were freeflow.
