Was back at @aliceboulangeriesg recently and had their Pain au Chocolat Noisette with Pomegranate Blueberry tea. The pastry was fragrant and buttery like their other pastries and there was rich hazelnut chocolate along with hazelnuts to give that extra crunch! I like how the tea selection here had non-caffeine options like the fruity one I had too 😋
Had good kbbq and soy marinated crab at @thegogijip recently! Good here is generally good though the meats are pricey but the quality's better than what you usually get 🤤
@tsukada_nojo_singapore is one of my favourite places for ramen but I don't get to go enough because they only serve it for lunch! Got my miso butter ramen recently with chewy noodles and thought the noodles were a bit too hard this time, the soup and everything else (especially the soup) were still good! Completed our meal with chicken nanban hehe
@marutamaramen.sg's Aka Marutama Tanmen is slightly spicy and nutty with a mix of nuts and chilli in their chicken soup. This was not bad and tasted rather healthy too! 😋
Haven't been to @sofrasingapore for more than 10 years and the food was still good when I returned again recently! They have a wide variety of food to choose from and we enjoyed the food a lot. I especially liked the Iskander Kebab because it was flavourful and the Chicken Pide for its cheesy texture 😋
Found a kind of secret @twgteaofficial a while back after cancelling our reservation with a hotel that only informed us about their menu change one day before our appointment (when I booked weeks in advance). We could only walk in and this outlet was quiet enough for us to be seated immediately too! Food was pretty decent and the prices were rather reasonable compared to other afternoon tea sets out there too! My friends loved the scones with the tea jelly a lot as well 😆 overall, service was good and we liked the ambience too!
@thestacksg is a rather new place serving coffee, sandwiches and waffles too! We had the sandos and coffee, the coffee was good because they use @dutchcolony's coffee which was robust and not acidic. The spam and egg and egg sando was nice but I feel that it didn't stand out much compared to all the other spam egg sandos I've had 😅 the Puff Puff, which has smoked salmon, pesto cream cheese, kale, onion and nori, was a bit more unique but the flavours were rather mild and not delivered as expected from what we saw on the menu. The bagels were good though, they were my favourite parts of the sandwiches 😋 dining here was enjoyable with a bright interior and a lot of natural light for photos too!
Had breakfast for dinner with @wildfireburgers.sg's The Eggstarter. Added spam to this and it was a sinful yet comforting burger with the creamy eggs and tasty spam 😋 Completed the meal with crispy tater tots and it was a really filling meal too!
@sumdimsumsg was introduced to me by a friend and I went there for dinner when I was in the area one day. I had a fried prawn roll chee cheong fun and it was really good because the prawn roll was still crispy and the chee cheong fun was silky smooth! I had that with Signature Hot and Spicy Dumplings which had a nice balance with the chilli and vinegar plus the dumplings had a generous amount of filling too! Will be back with more people so I can try more things in the future hehe
Ordered @madubakerysg's Madu Bun Box Special on @pickupp.sg recently and it consists of 4 buns in Mentaiko, Umami Mushroom, Classic Garlic and Nori Truffle! The buns were fluffy as usual while stuffed with a lot of filling. It's my first time trying Nori Truffle and I enjoyed it with a strong fragrant truffle flavour though my favourite flavour is still Mentaiko hehe
